BKKnicksfanParticipantCan we relax about the following things:

Derrick Rose leaving Chicago
Derrick Rose being a terrible leader
Thanks guys

SwatLakeCityParticipantThe only person who can fit in two of those statements is Carlos Boozer. (He isn’t leaving Chicago though). Derrick Rose fits none of them. The Bulls will not change their team that much next year. They only need to add a better SG. If they want to add other players it would not hurt but it isn’t necessary. They can also look at a better backup PG than CJ Watson and a PF to replace Kurt Thomas in case he leaves but those two spots are that necessary as the 2 guard.

Ghost01ParticipantOh come on BK, you mean to tell me you think its ridiculous to rip a 22 year old league MVP who was double and triple teamed almost every possession, had to play with Ronnie Brewer and Kurt Thomas in crunch time against the big 3, won 62 games, worked his butt off every single play, but messed up a few times in crunch time and lost to the best player on the planet? Come on…

llperezI agree with all of your statements knicksfan, but that doesn’t mean rose should be immune to criticism. He didn’t finish games shooting 4-23 in the 4 th quarter and overtimes. When you are a superstar, you will be criticized when you struggle.

Ghost01ParticipantI remember Kobe going 6-24 but it being a "career defining" performance.

llperezWho said it was a “career defining performance”? I remember him getting criticized by most people and called lucky his teammates bailed him out. The next time I hear about that game being a ” career defining perotmancr” will be the first time. In any case, at least he finished strong taking over the 4 th quarter scoring double figures and leading the lakers from behind to winhis 5th ring.

Ghost01Participantlol. Lakers fans talking about winning the title. At least i got that out of this.

BKKnicksfanParticipantI agree LL, I’m not saying have opinion on Rose, what I’m saying is, don’t treat this guy like Westbrook, a guy I feel is overrated and should be considered traded.

llperezThe rose traded topic was dumb, I only clicked on it to see how many negatives the ts got. Rose will bounce back . He has the hunger to grow from this.

BKKnicksfanParticipantAgreed.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI 100% agree with you man… People tend to forget that Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and DRose are still 22 years old and are very much learning from the experience they had this season… It’s been unbelievable for those guys…

nath09ParticipantAt 22 sometimes you gotta be brought back to earth. MVP, best record in the league. He tried to carry his team to the finals and it didn’t work but he’ll spend the whole off-season working out why he doesn’t have a ring and he’s gonna back prepaired for finals basketball next year. Lets just look through history, nobody is the number 1 option on a championship team at the age of 22.

TallmanNYCParticipantRose needs a better jump shot but that is something that you can improve on in your 20’s in the NBA. As long as he avoids injury, Rose should get better over the next four or five years.
