valentineWhich of these projected 2nd Round SG prospects do you see becoming the best pro, and do any of you guys see a Marcus Thornton type of sleeper on this list, meaning someone who could potentially be a 16-18PPG scorer in the NBA?
LaceDarius Dunn
Darius Morris
Dwight Hardy
Shelvin Mack
Marshon Brooks
Adrian Oliver
Charles Jenkins

mlane83ParticipantI think Morris would be better suited going back to Michigan for at least another year.
Shelvin Mack is a very solid basketball player all around, great shot, good body, tough as nails but I think one last year at butler to better solidify his skills would do him good.
I watched brooks play many times this year and this kid CAN FLAT OUT SCORE….he’s a kid you don’t hear alot about but i think could be a player in the nba that could average 15 to 20 a game.
Look at what jordan crawford is doing now that he is getting a chance to play. Kid just has a nose for the basket and he is tearin it up right now. I could see brooks doing the same thing in the pros
In order though maybe not this year just overall: Brooks, Mack, Morris as the top 3….

sheltwon3ParticipantMacks reminds me of Billups a lil bit. I think if he can stick around he can find his niche and make some lucky team very happy

SwatLakeCityParticipantI would say Mack or Brooks could have a career like Thornton has. More so Brooks because he can flat out score. I’m not quite sure about his defense though. He’d be a good pick for the Bulls and I am almost certain they will get him but the question is which with pick: 25, 29, or 42?
I think Mack should go pro. He has the talent as well as the smarts to go first round. Teams are going to love this guy because he can be a vocal leader as well as a scorer and not a bad defender either. I’ve heard that both Mack and Brooks could both go in the first round! Obviously late first round but still thats quite an accomplishment after probably going undrafted before the year began!

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipantmorris is more of a point…but anyways i see marshon brooks being a sleeper like marcus thornton because of his big-time scoring ability.

AKOOParticipantBut Klay Thompson may be selected in the 2nd round if he leaves for various reasons and down the line I think he has Kevin Martin written all over him

natedogggParticipantits funny how you said Marcus Thornton when mentioned high scoring 2nd round pick guards when Monta Ellis is way better.

ilike.panochasParticipantBut there’s no Monta Ellis type of caliber player in the 2nd round, not even in the 1st round. So let’s be realistic here.
