Russell0WestbrookParticipantCould you guys please tell me how LeBron, Wade, and Bosh could win a championship with old vets playing at the min could win the championship? At least tell me who they could pick up to play at the min that would be a factor remember they need to get rid or Beasley to even get LeBron so besides the 4 guys they have what would the rest of the team look like?

canesboy6ParticipantDwayne Wade and Old Vets won the championship in 2006. With an aging shaq, antwan Walker, James Posey, A practically crippled Gary Payton, and Jayson Williams. Wade is the second best player in the game (behind Kobe) and people are just starting to realize that I think. Consider that last year, there wasn’t a single player other than Haslem and Beasley on that team worth more than the veteran minimum. And they were a 5 seed. Vets on thier last leg, mixed with some young athletes grateful for a roster spot, will make this team a great mix of title hungry and cheap if you ask me.
Sample depth chart based on what Im hearing. Im from Miami, Im not Pat Riley but I know a little about whats going on.
pg Jason Williams Chalmers maybe Arroyo average, but they hit thier looks and dribble the ball up court. Good enough
sg Wade Jerry Stackhouse De’sean Butlersf Bron Bron Raja Bell (from Miami) James Jones
pf Bosh Juwan Howard
C Shaq? (heard some rumblings) Dexter Pitman Jarvis Varnado

GrandmamaParticipantWade’s better than Lebron? Interesting…. Why hasn’t Wade lead his team to 60 win seasons if he’s so good. Lebron had nothing around him in Cleveland and won 60 or more two or three times. And I don’t want you reason to be b/c he’s won one championship…

WrecklessParticipantA team that has 60 wins means you have a nice supporting cast. So dont start that shit.

NashyMingParticipantI can certainly see Zo would make a come back if the Heat needs some depth at the C.
Stackhouse would be a great pick up. He still got game for 15min a game.
Bell can be a nice pick up at vet min.
TMac is another ring chase that still got game. He’s from Florida and may want to get on the ride.
Starbury and Allen Iverson would probably join the team for vet min. They can be great 6th man options.
Rasho Nesterovic can be a solid big man off the bench. He would probably a vet min to get another ring.
Another old folk would be Michael Finley. He had been trying to chase another ring and his shot is still there. The Heat would certainly want to pick up a shooter that can hit clutch shot.
Brian Skinner would be a decent pick up to play backup PF/C. He can do some dirty works.
So if LBJ, Wade and Bosh playing in Miami, the Heat actually has a lot of vet min options.

BlackMamba24ParticipantWill all of those guys that you say would be a good pickups be alright with coming off the bench. iverson already showed he doesnt like coming off the bench. Michael Finley didn’t do anything for Boston so how does that change for Miami. All of these guys aren’t going to play for the vet minimum. You might be able to convince a few of them

Samuelindo1Participantstill have my doubts about Lebron going to Miami. I thinking why would this leak on the day he is suppose to announce it? Also does Lebron think he’s better than both Wade and Bosh because wouldn’t the three of them want to announce it together?

BlackMamba24ParticipantLebron thinks he is better than god himself, that is why we have to go through this stupid non-sense he is doing with this lame special and stuff
