Toronto16ParticipantThis is going to be a series of EPIC proportions. These 2 teams match up pretty well.
I got Bulls in 7. Thoughts?

DanEboyParticipantWith all respect to the Mavs, Thunder and Grizz…..this series is going to be better than the finals.
I am nervous already

BKKnicksfanParticipantHeat in 6 for me.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 4:45pm #531136

torukParticipantmiami in 6. they are starting to play really well when it matters most and derrick rose has too much in his hands right know. but for me there is a reallu important match up in this series, Boozer x Bosh. Who do you guys think that will play better in the series? i hava no idea haha
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 4:45pm #531137

DanEboyParticipantBulls in 6
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 4:48pm #531139

Da1potParticipantAny Possibility Wade guards Rose? Bibby will not cut it at all and Chalmers is solid but I doubt Spoelstra will assign such a difficult task…….
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 4:50pm #531141

DanEboyParticipantI think Wade will definitely be guarding Rose. They might even throw LeBron on him at times like they did a couple of times in the regular season.

natedogggParticipantboozer vs bosh to me if the big match up, if either one can establish dominance on the other it will help their team so much.
im concerned about the bulls having a defensive answer for wade however. Bogans and brewer will do their best but im not sure they can handle him
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 4:52pm #531143

Moon RiverParticipantSpolestra lacks a spine. He will not assign Wade to Rose. It will be Bibby or Chalmers to take the hits with the hopes Wade and Lebron will make up for it on the offensive end. Epic series starting Sunday night!

mikeyvthedonParticipantWhen Chris Bosh shot 1/18 from the field against the Chicago Bulls? I really hope that doesn’t happen again.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 4:54pm #531147

Moon RiverParticipantThe concern about the Heat all season has been their inside presence. If Bosh steps up the Bulls are in trouble. If Noah, Boozer, Osik, Taj and Thomas are solid, the heat are in trouble. BTW- what happened to Haslem? That guy would be a huge boost to South Beach.

Vivid5292Participantmy thoughts about this series…..Its about to GO DOWN!!!!!(Kevin Hart voice) hahahaha

PeanutParticipantBosh will do better Boozer is so unconcistant!
0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/12/2011 - 5:06pm #531151

FritzParticipantMy guess would be the Heat in 6. They are just playing too well right now. I believe the winner of this series will win the championship. Im just really excited for this series. Seriously Wade, Rose, and James in the same series? These are easily 3 of the top 5 most exciting players in the league.
Im just praying for one sick block from Rose on Wade or Lebron that would make the series for me. Im scared what Rose is going to be able to do vs Lebron trailing him on fastbreaks but its going to be a hell of a series and I hope the Bulls defense shows up or it will get ugly.

Michael.S.ParticipantThis is going to be a whale of a series. No predictions but you Bulls fans are pretty damn optimistic huh? And, Churchboy didn’t you have the Celts in like 4 games last series?lol

goat27ParticipantThey will keep the trend going and end it with the 5th game.

surveParticipantIMO it not that the Bulls arent good enough to win 4 games….but the Heat may be too talented to lose 4 games…to anyone right now. I think this goes 7 with an edge to Miami. The x-factor to me is the Power Forward matchup. Who will best who? When Boozer shows up, Bulls are tough as heck to beat. When Bosh rebounds well, the Heat almost always win. I just think the Heat are a little bit better especially with Mike Miller back.

KayjayParticipantBefore. One man having an amazing season, but three talented superstars continously deny him. Sound familiar? It should, it was when Boston bounced Lebron and his Cav’s out of the playoffs.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantGame 5, Heat.
Steal game 1, lose game 2. Win both games at home and close out the series in Chi City.
The longer the series goes on, the tougher it’s going to get on Rose. He’s got one of the best on ball defenders on him that is SOMEWHAT as quick as him, stronger than him, and just as athletic (Wade). Rose is going to be worn out if this series goes 6-7 games. Sometimes you just need a guy that could give you 20 without Rose having to give him the ball and the Bulls don’t have that.
I’m not trusting the way Chicago is playing. They had trouble with the Pacers and that followed them into the 2nd round vs the Hawks. The Heat had few troubles with the 76ers and they completely controlled every game in the 2nd round vs Boston. They controlled the boards, the score, and the flow to each game. Simply, the way LeBron and Wade are playing at such a high level, and Bosh giving them a double double on a game to game basis while hitting open Js and getting to the line 6 times a game. The Bulls just don’t have enough firepower. Defense can only take you so far, but when you got two of the top three players in the league on fire, there’s nothing you can do.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/13/2011 - 5:40am #531218
zebanoParticipantHeat in 6. Bosh doesn’t need to be great offensively, defensively his length should shut down Boozer making Rose Chicago’s only option. Put Wade on Rose and the Heat will win.

dahoodrecruiterParticipantI.can see the bulls winning this although its going 7 The key To me is DENG and NOAH staying outta foul trouble especially Noah. Drose is gonna get his WADE can’t stay with him ROSE is gonna blow past him .my.question is wat happens when Rose gets the heats bigs in foul trouble?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/13/2011 - 6:27am #531227

TallmanNYCParticipantGot to go with Heat. Only way I see Bulls winning is if Wade can’t guard Rose without getting into foul trouble. I got to think that Wade is too much of a star to not get the benefit of some calls. So if he and some of the other guys can contain Rose (i.e., 30 points a game, but shooting around 40% to get there) and not have to sit for long periods due to foul trouble, then Heat win no question. Doesn’t matter if Boozer is getting 15 points or 20 points a game. Heat aren’t going to be like the Hawks or Pacers, they are going to score if Wade gets to play 40 minutes a game. Basically, only hope for Bulls is that Rose just goes into unguardable mode.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/13/2011 - 8:14am #531253

mikeyvthedonParticipantI think the Bulls front court will have to be pretty monstrous to get the Bulls ahead in this series. There is no doubt Rose will have to be great, and I expect that he will be, but the Bulls front court of Noah, Boozer, Deng and Gibson off of the bench will all have to provide some offensive punch as well. The Bulls defense will also have to stay fantastic, and seeing as they have been inconsistent during the play-offs, that will be easier said than done. Still, I expect a lot of close games and some monster games from James and Wade for the Heat to go to the Finals. This series will not be easy for either team, whether it ends in 4 or 7, I expect these games to be battles. I am thinking this has got to be the best series of the play-offs thus far, and that whoever wins this one will be prepped for the finals. Think the winner is coming out of the East this year, and these teams will both show us what they have got, but I am still rolling with the Heat.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ll go with the Bulls to win this series.
Despite having the best record in the league and having homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs, the Heat are probably the team most favored to win this series. Now that the Lakers and Boston are elliminated, most people assume the Heat will march to the title. For the first time in the playoffs, the Bulls will play without the pressure of being the team that’s supposed to win. All of the pressure will be on the Heat. While watching the Heat celebrate after defeating Boston like they won the title, I got the feeling they feel like the toughest is behind them. The Bulls are a better team than the Celtics and I think the team we’ve seen these past couple of games will be the team that shows up consistently.
I expect the Bulls to win the rebounding battle and second chance point battle. I expect them to win the 50-50 battle. Defensively, I expect them to build the wall in the paint that Boston couldn’t build consistently. I expect them to get out to shooters. I expect them to get back in transition.
Offensively, it won’t be pretty, but I expect them to make enough plays/timely baskets to win games. I expect Derrick Rose to give his team exactly what it needs whether that’s 30-35 points or 20 points and 12 assists. I think he’s going to aggressively take what the defense gives him.
I think it’ll be an ugly series, but the Bulls will come out on top.
