20ppg for me. Bogut and him already have a connection and will look to find him with sweet bigman dimes.

He’s no where near aggresive enough to put up that many shots, nor does the Dallas offense allow for one player to score that much. If Monta Ellis was only scoring 19 a game playing his most efficient basketball, how in the heck is a guy who is strictly a spot up shooter and cutter going to get 20? I know, you know, and you can bet your butt Rick Carlisle knows a team that has Harrison Barnes chucking 18 shots a game isn’t one thats going to be doing very well offensively. Dirk is still around to get touches, Deron and Wesley Matthews still have to get theirs every night. Our roster isn’t constructed for Harrison to come in and be a big time scorer, nor is anyone expecting him to be that. I’d be happy with 12ppg as long as he’s playing quality defense and hitting open shots.

I do however love the addition of Bogut. I think he is a perfect big guy for Rick Carlisle’s schemes, and if (which is a massive if) he can stay healthy, I think he’s a strict upgrade over Zaza, who was excellent for us last season. I don’t expect us to make it out of the first round, but I definitely see this as another year we somehow manage to pull 45 wins out despite having a pretty barebones roster. We have a lot of role players that fit the mold Rick likes to put in place, and he can make a winner out of thin air.

I don’t think 20 PPG is as unrealistic as you’re making it sound. Monta Ellis is a 6 foot shooting guard, and although he’s immensely talented, he’s not Allen Iverson.

Harrison Barnes is a talented 6’8 SF who they paid the max for a reason. They’re going to give him the most opportunities and run the offense through him. He’ll also be able to get easy dunks and buckets. I think 17-18 PPG is more likely than 20, but I definitely wouldn’t be shocked if he averages 20.

When He_gets_buckets isn’t pouring acid on his own countrymen, he’s making wildly inaccurate predictions. Harrison Barnes is already proving that he’s the one getting buckets.

What’s next? Destroying the Ned Kelly memorial?

I could see him getting close to 20ppg across the season, Dallas will be a collective scoring team now that Dirk isn’t their focal point so much. He has a very experienced line up around him and a top coach so Barnes should be able to show what his scoring upside could be.

Plus Dallas will be looking to use Barnes as a key building point so will look to involve him as much as they can, he’ll be there when a lot of his fellow starters have retired or moved on.

If he can just continue to be aggressive and play through the bad shooting nights every Scorer has he’ll be fine…

I thought he might never recover mentally after that epic slump he fell into during the finals…He had the opportunity to be the X Factor in that series and he shrunk in the moment…

He’s definitely looking great early on, if he can keep it up he’ll earn back a lot of fans around the league…
