1.Who Do You Guys Prefer ?
2.Who Do You Guys Think Will Be The Better Player ?
3.Who Do You Compare Each Of Them To ?
4.What Do You Expect From Them This Year ( Stats , Team Wins , Progressions ETC )
    5.Worst Case Scenario ?
    6.Best Case Scenario ?

Here Are My Opinions . .

    1. i Prefer Barnes . .

    2. Barnes , i Think Will Be The Better Player . .

    3. i Think Barnes Has A Lot Of Kobe To His Game , Bt Nt That Same Attitude Or Swagger & A Purer Jumpshot . . & i Think That Jones Is A KG Clone , Bt Nt The Same Swagger & A Lot Better On The Perimeter . . Barnes= Kobe , Jones= T-Mac

    4. Barnes= 18-7-4 w/ Good Defense , Sweet 16 Berth For UNC & i Believe He’ll Be More Of A Star & Demand The Ball More Which Will Only Make Him & His Team Better . . . Jones=20-9-3 w/ Good Defense , NCAA Tournament For Baylor & i Believe He’ll Be More Of A Star & Demand The Ball More Which Will Only Make Him & His Team Better . . .

    5. Barnes=Poor Man’s Grant Hill , Jones=Lamar Odom Now

    6. Barnes= Kobe — 26-7-6 , Perry Jones= T-Mac 27-9-5

I’m not going to answer all the questions, but Perry Jones has all the skill but no will to improve and takes to many plays off, he reminds me of Jonathan Bender.

Harrison Barnes has all the skill, but he doesn’t have that killer instinct. I kinda see him as a taller Andre Iguodala.

I didn’t want to say it yesterday because I’ve only seen Barnes play 4 times including the All-Star games, but he reminds me of Kobe Bryant as well in the limited times I’ve seen him play. The guy seems to be outstanding at every aspect of basketball, and he’s physically gifted and pretty athletic which doesn’t hurt.

I see Perry Jones as a Rudy Gay type. He’s not the passer Odom is nor is he the defender or rebounder, but I think he is a potentially better pure scorer. I think he’ll be a 20 ppg scorer and be only mediocre at everything else (considering his physical tools), similar to Gay.

I’d definitely take Barnes over him. I think Barnes has a superstar feel to him because he’s so good at every aspect at a young age. I don’t like throwing out superstar comparisons, but he honestly reminds me of Kobe Bryant. I may be being unreasonale though in that expectation.

He is no Kobe, he doesn’t have a killer instinct and doesn’t always shot and dominate games when he can. He actually is like Lebron James in that why, as he gets his teammates involved and still scores, obviously he isn’t the physical specimen but their games are similar, so I’m changing my comparison of him from above.

I don’t know much about either at this point. But everything thing I’ve heard and the little I’ve seen shows me Perry Jones will not come close to his potential. At this point it appears he needs 3-4 years in college if he wants to make a significant All-Star type impact in the NBA. He’s the definition of raw and has zero to low basketball IQ. Harrison Barnes seems to want to be very good but to call him Kobe Bryant I don’t know about that.

I’d take Perry Jones. Like Jammin-Lemon said i’ve never seen anything like the kid. He has all the tools to be something very special

6″11 Freak that can play perimeter. he will grow an inch in his career and i think we will see our 1st 7 foot wing man which is scary.

Your guys judgment on Perry Jones is clouded….never seen any prospect like him?? Last player you seen like Perry Jones is Kevin Durant???…cmon, those are ridiculous comments. He’s so good b/c he did nothing in the high school all-star games right? He’s nowhere near the prospect Durant was…

Don’t get me wrong he has a chance to be special, but like one poster said he is at least 3 years away from being ready. He needs a lot of work. He’s got A LOT of work to do on his jumper, his handles, his body, his ball-handling, defense…He’s got a lot of potential, but Barnes is clearly the better player and prospect at this point in time.
