xbadgerhustlerParticipantI heard that James Harden completely flopped in a recent workout with the Grizz… To me, that sounds like Harden wants to go to OKC and probably has a promise from them so he threw the workout with Memphis to ensure he’ll land with KD, Russell, and Green. seem possible?

JNixonParticipantI have a hard time believing things like this, I one of the people that believes Thabeet must’ve been hurt to not workout the other day.

WildDudeParticipantIt does make sense but he may fall to #5 if things don’t go his way… Stephen Curry is getting a serious look at #3

leglockfanParticipantHe did not flop on purpose. Otherwise he wouldn’t have finished the workout going like 19 for 25.
He had a bad day but no one at Memphis seemed to mind because of what he had done in 2 seasons at ASU
Bad threads are bad

jerb2011ParticipantIf this is true, none of the top 3 prospects( after Blake Griffin) wants to go to Memphis and wants to go to OKC. This puts OKC in a pickle. They need a big time shot blocking C and a 3pt. shooting SG They could also use a change-of-pace PG coming off of the bench. What should they do?

ghostfaceParticipantWhy would Memphis even draft James Harden anyway when they already have Mayo. Were they planning on having Harden come off the bench?

j1232eParticipantwhy do most mocks have him slipping a little? Very curious!

CavsDawgParticipantmy first thought is that OKC doesn’t need a 2 guard, Durant plays the 3 but is really a 2 and Westbrook as of now plays the 1 but is really a two.
IMO, OKC needs a guy who isn’t a scorer, whether he be a guy like Thabeet whose job is going to be to grab rebounds and block shots or Ricky Rubio if he slips to 3 to just get the ball to guys like westbrook, Durant and even Green.
Memphis is in a similar boat though, with Gay and Mayo they just need a player who doesn’t need to score, just a guy who can contribute with other things besides points.
the most logical 1-2-3 combination would be Blake Griffin going 1, Thabeet going 2 so they can have a Conley, Mayo, Gay, Gasol, Thabeet future, then Rubio going 3
as for Harden, basketball players are human, they’re going to have off days
