Mr.CreativeParticipantMuch people believe that Psycho T is a good fit in Utah and will be a solid back up to Millsap because I doubt the Jazz will re-sign Boozer. He does have a good work ethic and really works hard to get boards and also to the foul line most of the time, but in your opinion do you think Hansbrough will be a good fit in Sloan’s system??

BlackMamba24ParticipantI think he can be a good fit if he has a good jumper since there will be a lot of pick and roll action on that team. I think they only take him if they know for sure that Boozer is going to be gone. He will add more than just numbers for any team he lands with

j1232eParticipantunless he goes earlier, then I think the jazz pick a james johnson. I am hoping for crazy T though.

BlackMamba24ParticipantI have seen him as high the early teens and falling into the 20s. It really depends on feel and needs. It is going to be a struggle for his game to translate to the NBA, thats why it is important for him to land in the right situation

butidonthavemoneyHe would be a good fit, but I’d rather have Blair.
If we draft big:
1. DeJuan Blair
2. Psycho-TThat’s it! Obviously I would take Griffen or Thabeet but at 20 there aren’t any other good choices. Mullens would never get any playing time (he doesn’t deserve any anyway). Taj Gibson isn’t tough enough.

Ecuadorboy0233Participantnot at first i think he could grow into the system and help the jazz down low where the dont get enough help even if boozer leaves.

the barronParticipantDeJuan Blair would be my top choice as well. Just imagine the rebounding battles in practice against Paul Millsap. But I doubt Blair will be available at 20. Hansbrough is the perfect choice but if he’s not there than who do the Jazz take? The Jazz are definitely not taking another Ohio St. freshmen center, after Kosta Koufos failed to impress this year. It may be too high but a guy like Pendergraph from ASU can stretch the floor and add length to the PF position. He would be my pick.

Mr.CreativeParticipantI believe all your suggestions are pretty good. I do agree that Blair would be another great pick but that’s true, I doubt that he’ll fall that far in the first round. I doubt they would take another center due to the fact that Okur might exercise his option and stay on his final year on his contract. Korver and Boozer leaving is sure chance. Match any offer for Millsap, keep him and then grab another PF in the draft. Psycho T definitely would do great with the Jazz. On a side note, if the Jazz have Korver, Okur and Boozer come back and not opt out of their contracts this off-season, they might have to pay the luxury tax. I believe they might be trying to avoid that.

QmanParticipantHansbourgh has a more developed offensive game. They are comparable athletes. Blair is a slightly superior rebounder. Blair has knee concerns. Neither is a very good shot blocker. Both are tough but I give Hansbourgh the edge in the intensity.
In the end I would take Hansbourgh.

butidonthavemoneyBlair is a way superior rebounder.
Can Hansbourgh monkey-flip Hasheem Thabeet?
