the light show was ape though, not gonna lie that was awesome. Bringin in Slash would have been cooler if they let him go crazy on the solo. For anybody who knows anything about guitar or music, the sweet child of mine solo is so nuts because they go from major scales the whole song into his dark, face melting minor solo. this solo they kept him in gay lame-o major scales for like 10 seconds and then they bring in Usher.

When the Sweet Child O’Mine riff hit and Slash came up through the stage, I thought the show might pick up but Fergie ain’t anywhere near Axl and she killed the song. It perhaps showed that the BEP didn’t feel they were good enough if they had to rope Slash and Usher in to boost their show.

I’ve always felt that the big rock acts work better for the halftime shows like The Who, The Stones, Springsteen etc. If you want a more urban/Hip Hop feel then why not get Jay-Z for example to put together the show, I’m sure he could pull a few friends in and give us a spectacular.
