properbreaksParticipantI’m pulling for Randle too. I like a mean, aggressive post player who’s an offensive bully.

r377ParticipantMKG – few ppl are calling him a bust and jordan went shopping for a new SF
Dirk and Chandler Parsons – dirk took a massive cut. Parsons was disrespected and unregarded by his own team while they were in the melo hunt.
Otto Porter, Jordan Hamilton, Derrick Williams, Jeremy Lamb and John Jenkins – hope they get more minutes than last season and prove they can contribute in this league…..

Jr. ROXASParticipantFor the rookies I’ve got James Young. I’m super high on him even higher than Aaron Gordon but I really have a bad feeling he will be stuck on the Celtics bench during the season.
I also got:
Brandan Wright, John Henson and Harrison Barnes.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantKobe – I don’t love the guy, but he is one of the greatest players of my generation and these are his last few years in the league, and I’d like to see him end his legacy on some sort of a good note, not a lottery bound Lakers squad.

Kinguy11ParticipantSteven Adams – He’s such a down to earth guy who doesn’t let other guys rattle him. Also I’m a Kiwi.
Chris Bosh – I want him to prove to the league he can still be a #1 option on a good team. People seem to forget how good he was before taking a reduced role in Miami.
Dante Exum – Seems like a good guy and seems commited to his country, plus he could be scary good if he puts it all together.
Patty Mills – I love the effort he plays with in San Antonio and that even with his recent success he’s stayed quite humble.
Dirk Nowitzki – I’ve always liked his game, but I’ve got to respect him even more for the pay cut he took to make sure Dallas remained competitive.
Otto Porter – I liked him coming out of college last season and would like to see him get a chance to make an impact.
Derrick Rose – Lets be honest, who doesn’t want to see him make a triumphant return to the NBA?
John Wall – He’s the first pick in the first draft I actively followed. It makes me kind of attached to him and wanting to see him turn into a superstar.

high floorParticipantThis is a homer pick, but I’m really rooting for Oladipo to make a leap this year and lead a young Orlando squad to an 8 seed. The Afflalo trade was a clear vote of confidence by management to increase his role.
Hopefully his freakish athleticism and great work ethic come together for him to have at least a border line all star season.

barbabodomParticipantAll brazilian players, especially Bruno.
Dirk and Timmy – such classy guys, HOFers doing history in front of our eyes
Jeremy Lin – it´s really cool to see a Harvard alumni in NBA
Greek Freak – please Jason Kidd, I want to see a 6"11′ PG, make it happen!

Toronto16ParticipantAndrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett – Would be huge for the future of Canadian basketball if these 2 find success.
Greg Oden – This ship has probably sailed, but I always hope that he can bouce back.
Derrick Rose – One of the most exciting players in the NBA when healthy.
DeMar DeRozan – Best player on my favorite team. Hope he continues to improve.
Chandler Parsons – Don’t like how he was treated in Houston, especially after he basically landed them Dwight Howard. I hope he has an amazing season and shoves it to Houston and Daryl Morey.

Status QuoParticipantMike Beasley – I’ll always root for him, just too much talent, hope his heart and work ethic eventually catch up with it. Hopefully he lands with a good team with a need for scoring and has some vet leadership.
Derrick Rose – A Bull fan, but for pure basketball reasons, I’d love to see him explode this year and go All-NBA like we all know he is capable of doing when healthy.
Kobe Bryant – I wouldn’t mind one more great year from him, not sure if it can happen with what he’s got around him and his health, but a stellar throwback monster year would be a good story.
Quincy Miller – Like Beasley, alot of talent, just wished he would have stayed in college one more year, unlike Beasley, not a knucklehead.
DeMarcus Cousins – He’s a beast, he’s criticized way too much and he’s easily one of the top bigs in the game and plays with an attitude. Not alot of big men do that.
Harrison Barnes – Still have high hopes for this kid. I hope he gets traded so he can really get a chance to shine.

Memphis MadnessParticipantVince Carter — always liked him, and now he is on my Grizzlies.
James Johnson — former Griz who made some great highlights last year.
Hasheem Thabeet — never thought this guy got a fair deal. He also looks like he is fun to be around.
The 2008 Big Three — Derrick Rose, CDR, and Joey Dorsey
Anthony Davis — I still hope he grows a couple of inches to get on that Kareem/Duncan line.
The "next" three — Wiggins, Giannis, and Jabari Parker. I want to see who LeBron/Durant pass the torch to. One of these three, if not all three, might need to carry the league in 5 or 6 years.
There are actually a lot of Lakers guys that I am rooting for. Nash, Kobe, Jeremy Lin, Julius Randle, I like Ryan Kelly ok, and former Grizzly "Mr. Ed" Davis. They will be my LA team to root for, because outside of Blake and DeAndre I HATE the Clippers especially Chris Paul.
DeMarcus Cousins– I want to see him put it all together.

RUDEBOY_Participant1.d wade..took a paycut twice to help out miami and they rewarded him with a hefty contract, that might be a little too much for an aging often injured star…
2.mcgary
3.greg oden-injuries wont allow him to be that franchise center many expected..but he can still help a few teams..his per 36 were 11 pts/9rbs/2blks…
4.derek fisher..playing or coaching in ny can be hectic,especially if you’re losing…

Danilo Gallinari I just think he could be very good, however injuries keep getting in the way.

ncballerDerrick Rose- for obvious reasons.
Jimmer Freddette-still think he could be a 12 ppg scorer off the bench. Just hasn’t seem to be given the opportunity to do so.
Brandan Wright- thought this guy would be very Chris Bosh like, injuries set him back. Still think he can be a 15+7 guy in the Wright (pun intended) situation
PJ Hairston- This guy has a microscope on himself right now because he got caught doing things that most high profile D1 athletes do anyways.
TJ Warren- Hard not to love this kids game.
Lance Stephenson- Love his passion. Very much under a microscope.

JordanC20ParticipantJosh Harrellson…when he played for UK he inspired me to get in shape. He’s not a bad player a pretty good stretch 5 that can also grab a lot of rebounds.

Tedy BukasaParticipantElfrid Payton- I mean "Louisiana-Lafayette" lol..tradition overlooked small school kid. Very talented, I want him to continue the lineage.
Dante Exum- This guy is really a kid to me, man. When you watch his interviews, and commercials you see his humility…it’s hard to root against a kid.
Derrick Rose- All he cares about is basketball and his family – nothing else. So many people have counted him out, and I get why…but you still want to see him prove everyone wrong. He was a top 4 player before the series of injuries
Bradley Beal- I’m from 93′, what can I say. I have the same measurables as him…lol I guess I just feel like he’s what I could have been had I actually known how to work at my game.
Victor Oladipo- it’s hard to root against the dude + https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osDKlNO7cWs
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist- …most of all I’ll be watching to see him fix that form of his.
Bruno Caboclo & Giannis Antetokounmpo- They both beat odds that were heavily weighing against them. They also seem like realy humble dudes. I feel like Giannis is going to be a star sooner than later.
Kobe Bryant- I’m not a Kobe fan and I dislike Laker fans, however Bean has been in the league since I was 3. It’ll be a sad day when he retires. I want to see him finish strong.
Lebron James- For the sake of the Cleveland’s economy and everything he means to that area – I want that team to do something good for that city.
Dwyane Wade- He’s had a ton of injuries, I just want him to show he’s still one a premiere 2-guard.
The Spurs + Pop- I’ve counted them out since forever because of age, now they’re the best team in basketball. It’s hard to hate on’em.
