GStatesince88ParticipantHere is what I want as a long-time Warriors fan (while also being relatively considerate of others teams needs).
Warriors give up David Lee + expiring contracts in either J. Crawford, S. Blake, or J. O’neal in exchange for the Orlando Magic’s #12 pick, Jameer Nelson, and either M. Harkless or T. Harris. The Magic don’t want Jameer’s contract on the books, can afford to slang their 2nd lottery pick, and should allow one of the young talented SFs to bloom and not consistently split time.
Warriors package the #12 pick, Harrison Barnes, Harkless or Harris, one of those expiring contracts, and potentially next year’s 1st or 2nd round draft pick in exchange for Kevin Love.
If Minnesota decides they would rather have Lee than Barnes as the key piece to the trade we could work something out.
What does everyone think Minny is trying to get out of Love?

benny15ParticipantIm a long time warriors fan myself, and i can say that deal is too bias in our favor and not even allowed in the cba. First off, we cant deal any of our expiring contracts anymor because the earliest time to make a deal is on the draft. And as per the cba, you cant trade players on draft day whose contract will be expiring or has an opt out clause, weather it be player or team who has the option.
having said that, we cant deal for nelson since he has a team option on his contract. Also ‘eans that the magic have no reason to let go of one of their lotto picks and a young forward just to et rid of him. Also means that we cant deal a series of expirings to the twolves on draft night.
the most realistic scenario or package we can come up with is to deal lee, barnes, klay and future picks for love and martin. I was considering pek because his deal is longer, but im not sure if the contrCts would match still since his deal is also larger than martins.

natedogggParticipantCrawford, Blake and O’Neal aren’t expiring deals, their deals already expired and are no longer under contract so your looking more along the lines of Lee, Barnes and whoever else Minny wants to get Love.
