Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThis game is ugly, early. Missed shots, turnovers, bad spacing by both teams. It’s tough to watch as of now.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantTwo travels in the last three possessions by Chris Paul, no-call. Now a phantom call for Blake Griffin on the and-1.

FastAndFuriousParticipantALOT of missed shots, very low scoring game so far.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, not sure if it’s good defense or simply missed shots.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m at work, so I can’t watch the game… Just looking at the box score.
Griffin 2-9 already… The game just started…

IndianaBasketballParticipantWow… Both teams shooting under 30%…
I guess I’ll just check back in the 4th quarter.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIndiana,
You aren’t missing anything special. If anything, I’d rather be at work right now than watching this game, that’s how boring it is.

FastAndFuriousParticipantEric Bledsoe’s open court speed is scary, just has to get better in the half court sets.

IndianaBasketballParticipantChris Paul is the best player in this series and many consider him a top five player in the NBA.
I’m looking for him to dominate this game. He has to.

WizardofOzParticipantVDN needs to be fired. Clippers have no offensive system.

FastAndFuriousParticipantLiterally after every dead ball or whistle Chris Paul and Zach Randolph are getting physical with each other lol they need to get the gloves and get in the ring. hahaha j/k

WizardofOzParticipantConley’s defense is insane.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/13/2012 - 8:53am #669596

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantConley’s come a long way from being a scrawny kid who couldn’t shoot.

DolanCareParticipantI have no idea why everybody is pooping on this game. I personally love this type of ball. Hard-nosed, compeititive and chippy as all heck. The Clippers have been coddled for this entire season…..heralded as a contender in the beginning and now getting every call from the refs late in the year.
This game is different. It’s the realization that the flop-squad gets no sympathy in Game 7. The only thing that would make this game better would be if the Grizzlies picked up Jason Smith for one game just so he could stare menacingly at Griffin after Randolph dishes out a "forearm shiver." (Van Gundy kept saying that all game).

joecheck88ParticipantKenyon Martin even at 6 foot 9 is a wayyyy better center right now than Dandre Jordan. Jordan has done absolutely nothing. Eric Bledsoe is so fast with the ball. I wish the Clippers would push it more like that. Their offense is terrible in the half court but when the run they get buckets.
This has been a very good game. I like the physicality, the lack of complaining and flopping and the competitiveness. Awesome game.

uknationParticipantThe way the refs are letting them play the fourth quarter is how they should always ref the game. That’s how the NBA used to be. Go hard or go to the bench

IndianaBasketballParticipantThey’ll be smacking themselves all summer for losing game one and then not being able to close out on their home floor.. I mean, that’s what the regular season is for… To get homecourt advantage in the playoffs.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/13/2012 - 9:44am #669616

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAnd it’s game over for the Grizzlies.
At the end of the day, it came down to making shots, and the Grizzlies couldn’t.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/13/2012 - 9:55am #669619
aamir543ParticipantIn theory, the Grizzlies could have easily won all 7 games. They choked in game 1, Rudy’s last shot in game 3 rimmed out, they went to OT in game 4, and it was neck and neck the whole way today, and there were several occasions where they just didn’t make the shot or had an ugly turnover.

TEQU1LAParticipantMan, his defense against the Griz was suffocating the kid can ball. EB12 stock has risen quite a bit after this series won’t be surprise if teams start calling for his services

billykParticipantIn theory alot of things COULD be diffrent!

Malik-UniversalParticipantit looks like i was right about my prediction
i believe in superstars aka chris paul
the grizzles were overall the better team
but chris paul wouldnt let them lose

Malik-UniversalParticipantand deandre jordan litteraly has no skills what so ever…..
all he did was do the jumpballs for the opening tip and get some nice dunks
thats it.
