valentineI think thats good..They really needed some scoring punch off the bench….Wafer played last season for the Rockets…Wafer doesnt add anything besides scoring..They have enuff scoring..But they really needed scoring from the bench…I think they’re last in that area….

dmo21Participantwafer will be a good 6th man for this team. a scoring punch of the bench.

td8118Participantanother guy comin back from Europe, it looks to me more for leverage then guys actually wanting to play there….Good for them, Wafers too good to not be on an NBA roster

Good for him, I wanted the Knicks to pick him up during the summer, I think hes a NBA level player

JNixonParticipantHe proved last year that he was an above average scorer in the NBA, and I think he’s a great fit for Memphis off the bench as well..

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ve liked Wafer since Florida State, but I don’t like this move. He can score, but what else can he do? He can’t defend. Can’t pass. He’s never seen a shot he didn’t like lol. Memphis doesn’t need another scorer. They have plenty of those.

JNixonParticipantYea he doesn’t provide much else besides scoring (he never passes the ball) and occasional passing lane D. But they did need a scorer for their 2nd unit though…

d-grizzlyParticipantgood move for my grizz! it’s always good to have that extra loaded weapon. grizzlies need a scorer off the bench, and they found him!

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWhen he played for the Rockets, wasnt he pretty much just a shooter?? I thought that he was in a dunk contest with like Lebron or something. How come we never see that explosiveness out of him anymore?? Anyway, average move. You wont see much change in the W department. Ehhh. Could be a positive just as easy as it could be a negative. He is a “make or break” type player.

quincey hodgesyeah he was playing for them…you can leave a team and go play over here or vice versa. the contracts only hold you if you playing in that country

JNixonParticipantVon Wafer made a few explosive athletic plays last year at Houston…he’s just not a good enough ball-handler to do it regularly in half-court most times..
