I hardly saw any of Greg Oden last season.  He averaged 9 mins a game during the season then was forgotten about in the playoffs.

Why did he not get more mins ?

What now for Oden in the next upcoming season ?

With the way Miami played last season, he simply couldnt keep up. He’s too slow.

He’s probably going to get a 1yr deal from a contender this upcoming season due to his size, but it will become very clear that his knees are completely shot and theres no way anyone can fix him.

    Greg, keep gettin them checks.

I’d still say he had a much better season than Bynum, which was the topic of conversation last summer.

Didn’t get minutes because he doesn’t fit what they do offensively, which is space the floor with shooters.  Only reason Birdman gets minutes is because he’s very active, crashes the boards, and can keep up running up and down the court.  Oden needs to play in an offense where he can post and get touches, not for a team that spreads the floor at every position.

Oden will get a deal somewhere, probably one year.  Wouldn’t mind if the Bulls signed him, they need a backup center.  And with Noah who plays a ton of minutes, they won’t need too much out of Oden.

How does he fit with the Sixers? Their super fast pace doesn’t suit Oden at all
