festar35ParticipantEveryone thinks he isn’t a good fit with the Bucks and I tend to agree, question is where does he fit…..
I know he is getting paid pretty good money, but I think his best fit would be as the first big off the bench in a role similar to what Al Jefferson and Enes Kanter have done.
What team would trade for him and would Bucks get much in return?

SmooveKRYPTParticipantWord is they explored a Monroe for Jrue Holiday centered package at the deadline last year. I could see that coming back up around draft time, especially if the Bucks come away with someone like Poeltl.
Portland & Atlanta have long been interested in Monroe as well.

OhCanada-ParticipantEspecially if New Orleans have a chance to draft Dunn.
I proposed this in another thread and think it’s solid. MCW and Monroe for Splitter and Teague. Atlanta gets a bit more talent but the Bucks get good system players that fit and are on contract years.
Teague and Splitter should both play well trying to earn new contracts. If they play well and Bucks make the playoffs then they would likely resign as the Bucks would definitely overpay to retain a playoff position, if it doesn’t work they can easily trade them at the deadline as rentals as thier contracts are only $8-Million each.
The Hawks only do this deal if they lose Horford as an attempt to stay playoff relevant.

CDPHParticipantBy all accounts he isn’t getting past Minnesota at #5.
DEEP(ish) Thoughts: Kaiser’s Draft Notes:
XIX – Hand Eye Coordination and 3-Point Shooting
XVIII – Marquese Chriss
XVII – DeAndre Bembry
XVI – Denzel Valentine
XV – Three Skills Make A Star0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/07/2016 - 2:19am #1070805

HitsterParticipantMonroe has a player option after next season so a team would not give up a crazy amount for him but if he moved to the right situation, he is a skilled scoring big who is only 26 years old. His ceiling does look about a 16/10 player but if that could be a telling contribution on a good team then he’d be decent value.
I agree that Portland could be a good fit for him. Charlotte might be an option if Al Jefferson moved on. They own their picks going forward so could put a decent package together. The Pacers might look at him possibly too as their frontcourt is still in rebuild.
