I know LeBron is a good player and has a lot of love on this site but come on. How can you put this guy over the likes of pippen, bird, worthy and elgin baylor these guys were great players and winners also LeBron hasn’t even won anything yet. Its also easy to forget these guys put up great numbers with lots of talent around them and LeBron puts up great numbers too but he also hasn’t ever had other talent around him where they could put up numbers. So b4 u get ahead of yourself let him win or put up crazy numbers with somebody else on his team that can also do the same thing. Any star can put up numbers without another star, but the great ones do the same thing with stars on the team ala bird, jordan, kobe, magic, kareem, shaq, duncan, worthy, pippen, and elgin bayor to name a few. Let’s wait until he does that b4 you put him above some great players and winners. These guys weren’t as athletic so they acually had great skills and very high IQ. Not saying Lebron doesn’t have a high IQ cuz he does but his skill aren’t great he’s a bull that gets to the rim and can’t be stopped but we all know that doesn’t last forever that’s when we get to see how great they really are.

He will once he gets some real help. Once he hits 10 years in the league with what he averages you can’t deny him beingn one of the great no matter what. People seem to forget what he did to the Pistons that Game 5 on the road I never seen anything like that by anyone Jordan, Shaq, Duncan, Kobe etc.

I watched pippen and worthy in their prime. ANyone who thinks they were better then Lebron is smoking something. Bird is debateable because he had the better carreer, but lebron plays in a tougher era. If Lebron retired today, then Bird would be the greatest sf of all time. But i think LBJ would outplay Bird against each other.

Pippen is one of the most overrated NBA players of all time. He was an above average player from 89-90 to 90-91. After that he reached an elevated all-star status he deserved from 91-92 until 97-98 including a good year without MJ.
I’m not saying he isn’t good or doesnt belong in the HOF, but him vs. LBJ? You should appreciate that you get to “witness” one of the most freakishly athletic people to ever live. EVER. That’s not even a bold statement because athletes in this era are much more athletic than in decades past.

Bird was a great team defender and I doubt Lebron could guard a 6’10 Nowitzki prototype full game and vice versa

lebron is good but he doesnt have a lot of stand out skills except for passing! everything else is because of size, strength, and athletism. his handles, shot, footwork, defense, and post game are average at best. Don’t say because he blocks shots from behind he’s a great defender. These other guys had half the athletism but were very effectice cuz of skill. All im saying is how good would Lebron be if he were the averge small foward size when he couldnt just bully everybody around. Also alot of these guys were good into their mid to late 30’s I dont see lebron doing that because of his body he has a big mans body and we know any perimater player with a big guy body doesnt last very long. He is a great player tho but not top 2 evr at his position you have to win to even be considered cuz if you were that good you would have multiple rings!

elgin balyor averaged 27 pts, 13 reb, and 4 assists. The guy was only 6’5 27, 13, 4 in the playoffs
bird averaged 24pts, 10 rebs, 6 assists. With no atheltism 23, 10, 6 in the playoffs
My point dont overrate LeBron just yet he’s good but not all time great yet
