DanEboyParticipantDeron drops 57, Rondo has a ridiculous 18-17-20 triple double, Rose had 35-8 and Paul is doing his thing against the Rockets, 25-9 so far.
Point guard driven league.
Now rank them in order!!!….just kidding.
They are all great and we should stop trying to figure out who is best. On any given night, any of them are the best.

DurantsWingspanVery very true. It is hard to say who is the best. It depends what you want in a point guard. You want that PURE point guard, you can have Chris Paul. You want a scoring point guard, you can have Derrick Rose. You want something in between, you can have Deron Williams. You want the triple double defensive freak that lacks a jumper put is perfect for setting up others, you can have Rajon Rondo. I mean there is also so many I didn’t say it is crazy right now.

Mr. 19134ParticipantIt was. Also Nash is still doing his thing in Phoenix willing that team to victories I dunno how he does it.
But we should play a game an indeed rank the PG’s in the league but start from worse starters to the best and everybody will have an input I’ll start with the 30th best PG in the league.
30. Derek Fisher
29. ?

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantActually I think its really a blur around 23-28. The fact that Derek Fisher and Jason kidd are at 29 and 30. I think anyone you put at 28 is going to be a huge step up.. I would maybe put Jameer Nelson based solely on the fact that he gets paid 8.6m a year and has stats about as good as Isaiah Thomas is doing right now.

iguapops420ParticipantDerek Fisher has been the worst starting pg for quite some timee. Years really. Even when he was hitting big shots. I can’t really even think of many backups though at this point who are worse or at least as good as him.

EntropyParticipantDon’t forget that lawson was 1 rebound away from a trip dub, with 22/11/9.

TallmanNYCParticipantWorst starter? Well is Kemba Walker starting? I’d definitely trust J. Kidd over him. Yes, J. Kidd is putting up some terrible numbers this year. But he started and won a championship, showing the versatility to switch over to defensive stopper at the 2 guard when Barea played. Also Jarret Jack doesn’t exactly have a fantastic resume and he is now starting for the Hornets. Tyreke Evans is having a lousy year as well and might get replaced as a starter by rookie Isiah Thomas.
But really every team has a guy starting at PG that seems okay now except for the Lakers.

PulseGlazerParticipantIt’s hugely impressive how deep the current PG crop is. There’s a number of guys who could have been low end or better starters for most of the NBA’s history coming off the bench – Baron, Andre Miller, Sessions… though they’re all clearly, right now, better than guys like Fisher and Felton.
