Lotto StudParticipantWhen his career is said to be over & done with does he go into the Hall of Fame as a Cavalier or Heat & which jersey gets retired Cleveland’s #23 or Miami’s #6?

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHe goes in as a Miami Heat. You have to remember, he has about 10 years left in him which he will most likely spend in Miami. By the time he plays 10 years in Miami, playing 7 years in Cleveland will be long forgotten.
Cleveland will eventually retire his jersey because of everything he did there for 7 years. He still holds nearly every Cavaliers record.
If he wins 2-4 rings in Miami, his, Wade’s and Bosh’s jersey may be retired by the Miami Heat as well.
I believe the better question is Shaq instead of LeBron.

Anton123ParticipantTheoretically both jerseys can be retired. Kareem had his jersey retired in Miluakee and LA.
Still it’s to early to say about his jersey being retired in Miami, for all we know he could ask for a trade next season.

cheesepillowParticipantThe Cavs won’t give him any respect at all- so no official jeresey retirement; although I think players themselves will avoid that number out of humility. Kind of like Mariners (baseball) and Randy Johnson (#51) until Inchiro came around and asked Randy personally.
LeBron will probably enter HOF with the Heats unless his tenure is unexpectently short (doubtful)
