While this years draft is taking alot of heat for being weak it could be really good for the heat. The heay are a couple clutch players away from being the greatest team assembled. Players like shelvin mack could come in with his winning experience and provide clutch shooting and the heat mask his weakness with lebron being a point foward. Another player who could be good for the heat is deandre liggins a long defensive player who can hit open shot i see him being a bruce bowen abd capable of keeping wade and bron fresh because they wont have to guard other teams best player and the good thing is both these players could slip to the second round.

Yeah i agree, they are in a really nice position with that high 2nd round pick, any guy who slips could land there. They have to go big or go PG. I have them taking Norris Cole b/c that kid can shoot the lights out. Also in my mock Darius Morris is still available and I’m sure people would be quick to put him there but the Heat need shooting out of the PG position. Morris is pretty ball dominant, a horrible 3pt shooter, making him more of a penetrator. Lebron and DWade, just saying those names you know they’re main objective is to get to the paint. Bibby is turd now in his career and Chalmers is so incosistant. I don’t really like a lot of the bigs in the 2nd round range that can make an immediate impact like I think Cole can

I have a gut feeling Nolan Smith will fall to the second round. I think if he there when the Heat are on the clock, he should defintley be their choice.

I forgot about some of the possible second round talent I think Demetri Mccamey is a match made in heaven with this team good shooter who looks to pass first. He racked up assists at illiniois im sure he could with the heatles. Also this gives there lineup some tremendous size a 63 point with dwade and bron opposing teams wouldnt like that mccamey reminds me of the championship bull pgs. If this team could nab a potential big man in free agency a young one that still can reach his potential this team owns the league for next seven years unless okc keeps hitting gold in draft.

I really like Keith Benson to the Heat, he has the height that Joel Anthony and Udonis Haslem lack. While he would need time to refine his game and gain weight right off the bat he can block shots and run up and down the floor with Wade and LeBron. Also while his stock has been high due to workouts I truly believe that if Josh Selby gets to the Heat he has a chance to develop in the league maybe even as a Jrue Holiday type player. Justin Harper and Jamie Skeen would also be two nice versatile 3/4’s who can knock down the mid range jumper and gaurd multiple positions.

Shelvin Mack. No better fit than Mack who is Derek Fisher all over again. Pit Bull leader who isn’t afraid of the moment. I’ve had him going to the Heat in every Mock I’ve done. Remember the Heat were courting Fisher this past offseason.

Don’t forget the Heat have Patrick Beverly overseas right now. I think he’s better and more NBA ready than any PG that’s going to be available when they are on the clock.

I rather like McCamey or Moore  for them because their 1 really just needs to be able to shoot as Wade/Bron will handle the rock most of the time. If I liked any of the second round bigs better but Benson is a long way from being strong enough to play C in the NBA.
