Would like to know your opinion more as you are a loyal Kings fan. To me, it’s all public perception, media related and possible underlying racism. Also, it’s societal expectations of an ATHLETE, which is ridiculous in the first place. If he gives back to the community like they say, how can you hate on the kid? I’ve done some volunteering in my day but not extinselvely at his age. If Timmy D is not considered a true C, who is better than Boogie? Drummond doesn’t have his skill set but is his only real competition going forward. Dwight may be better defensively but no one besides Timmy has the offensive potency. Put him on other team. Pacers would not be struggling like this. Their D may deminish some but they wouldn’tt be scoring 70pts a game. Him and Love in Minnesota? Other teams will not get rebounds, period. I just hate we still have to belabor the point on this kid.

in the game right now, despite the lack of attention he gets.  I would maybe listen to an argument that Big Al is better, but I’d prefer Cousins if I had to pick one.  I get that he’s had his transgressions, but to the best of my knowledge, he’s never gotten himself into trouble off the court, has he?  Seems like he’s mostly misunderstood from a few minor incidents.  Would love to have him on the Pistons.

I think he’s on the verge of maturing, though given several chances he just needs to realize that there are people supporting him but he also needs to realize that he’s not only one obligated to carry the load. Demarcus Cousins will develope into one of the games best bigs for sure he just needs to put his mind in the right place. His rebounding averages keep climbing and he can score 25+ in any given night, always being a double double threat.  He’ll get around and he’ll start to understand himself more in the final developing years, I’m sure of it.
