I was watching the cuse game earlier, and I was wondering if it was a good thing or a bad thing that Wes can go almost the whole game, minus a few good plays and dunks completely unnoticed. THe guy finished the game with 16pts 13rebs and 7asts which by any standards is a very good game. But he does it to the point of where you almost dont even notice it. And dont get me wrong here I love the way cuse is playing right now and hes the main reason why were, atleast in my mind, the number 1 team in the country, but as far as his nba stock goes I was wondering if this was a good thing or a bad thing, because if he was just a lil bit more selfish as far as taking shots go, his numbers would be thru the roof and being considered for the number 1 pick in the draft.

    Any thoughts?

Scouts don’t put a lot into stats. They know how good the kid is. Top 5 for sure.

I love his stamina and length. Any guy who can play 40+ minutes night in and night out is highly valued in the NBA. I love his wingspan and think he can be a dominant defender and a very solid option as a wing player. He’s also a good finisher who will produce at the next level. I think he is one of the safest picks in the draft.

The reason he can play the whole game is because he stands around on defense. Lazy defender… conserving energy.  I would rather see him get aggressive on defense & play 30 minutes a game. A lot of times I see him just standing around with his hands down moving in slow motion on defense.  I see opponents simply dribble around him.
