Except for JR, few Cavs turned up to play.  Varajeo did too.

No Love and no Irving for the Finals, or most of them, Golden State are saying that doesn’t need to be said.

Cavs might make a trade because of this game.  Warriors are certainly saying they don’t fear a Cavs team with all their players available.

really, I think this game proves that they need a change, either fire Blatt, or make a big trade.. They can try and tough it out the rest of the season, but I dont see them winning with how this team is constructed right now.. Love is a non factor, Mozgoz is a bum, I’d try and go after Cousins hard, but Love’s value is probably too small now that we saw how small his role and contribution is on a good team..

Steph came out in the first quarter and basically said, "What??? People still don’t think I’m the best in the world? Let me show you real quick how wrong you are." This was an absolute beatdown. Cannot wait to see these upcoming Warriors-Spurs matchups.

Curry turns up his game in the 4th quarter.  He did it during the finals, and Lebron just doens’t have that in him.  MJ did, so did Kobe, you turn up your game in big spots, while Lebron looks to pass because he knwos he doens’t have the shot.

So yeah Curry did establish even if he aint’ the best, his team for sure is, and did it in great fashion.

But it was way more about making up and beating them with their "full roster"…because everyone was saying if the Cavs had their Full Roster they woudl’ve easily beaten GSW.  GSW didnt’ get its due respect last year especially with that idiot Doc Rivers making bonehead statements after his team coudln’t beat James Harden last year.

GSW statement:  "we’ll kill you even though you have your full roster, on your own floor, again, oh and I hope it still smells like champagne in that locker room"  Don’t disrespect champions.  They put up historic offensive and defensive numbers last year….and the Lebron-worshippers were still telling falsities.

If you want to say Lebron can’t close out games then sure, I’ll give that to you. But how could you say the leading scorer in the league in the fourth quarter can’t turn it up in the fourth quarter?

Lebron is at a disadvantage with a lack of a very efficient outside shot when it comes to hitting game winners and it really effects him, but give credit where credit is due. He’s very capable of turning it up in the fourth.

And also, Lebron dominates fourth quarters VERY often. The thing is, he fails to do so at an alarming frequency during games on national TV.

in the NBA Finals, and this is to his credit, the dude is an amazing athlete, that makes the finals virtually every year, albeit in a weak conference.  I’m not sure he’d get to the WCF repeatedly out there with his teammates.

Your body has to get tired, as great an athlete as he is, and in the 4th quarter maybe Steph wasn’t as needed in the first 3, but that boy last year in the finals turned it on, and I think its because of his skill (shooting), and the fact that he doesn’t have to do nearly as much as Lebron nightly.

Having said that, Lebron’s body gives out on him, which means he has to rely on his skills, and in the 4th quarter of those Finals last year, he whimpered.

Great players turn it on, and Lebron gassed out.  It’ll be his legacy, a Finals loser, unless he somehow pulls off one or two more chips.

It was just one of those days for the cavs. They just couldn’t get anything going offensively and gs was just on fire. When they play like that there is no team in the league that can beat them. I wouldn’t overract and say blow up the roster just due to one game but it is possible they look to make a few minor tweaks. I don’t think a healthy mo Williams will be that much of a difference maker. They need to get more out of their frontcourt players, particularly mosgov. Golden state is just destroying them in the pick and roll.

People who care about this game at all haven’t watched the NBA playoffs for the last like 10 years.

Good teams get blown out at times. The Cavs don’t care one bit about the regular season and if they make a big splashy trade, its because LeBron is a stupid GM.

Cavs will be fine, they’ll sleepwalk through the East and if they are healthy, they’ll give whoever they face a good series. They might win, they might not. But they’ll be there and I don’t see what kind of trade they could make that would make them better while being beneficial to another team at the same time.

Warriors, unlike most really good teams, seem motivated this year to really shut people up who underrated them. Still hope the Spurs beat them, but man those are the two funnest teams to watch in the league and its not close.

"good teams get blown out at times".  dude, did you see Lebron getting all unprofessional and starting to elbow guys because he’s just so upset his team is getting rocked.  He obviously wanted to get revenge, especially on his own court. He was trying to play hard but his team just can’t play like the team that destroyed his.  He is being defended by two guys Iggy and Barnes and occasionally Green who are doing PHENOMENAL job on him, which frustrates him more, because he knows the rest of his roster, including Kyrie, is trash when you want to play as a team.  They need to fire the coach, and get rid o some key players.

On their squad I like:  Lebron, Thompson, Dellavedova, Varejao.

I don’t think Love, Irving, Shumpert, and JR Smith are enough for you to beat the teams Spurs and GSW, they have too many pieces.

Yeah they’ll be in the Finals, but those 4 guys just don’t know how to play together to win.  For Love, its his sheepish nature, for Irving, its his quest to play and1 basketball in the NBA playoffs, and nobody is on the street, people are trying to win professionally, and JR and Shumpert are obviously just guys that are perennial losers.  If they were winners, the Knicks woudln’t have been as decrepit as they were while these two were on the squad.

There ain’t no Wade and Bosh on this squad, those guys were professional NBA ballplayers.  Not a sheep and showboat.

First it was "We didn’t have Irving or Love." Then it was "Irving isn’t 100%." Now it’s, "Cavs don’t care about the regular season."

The real finals is going to be the WCF between Spurs and Warriors. Winner gets to do a victory lap against the Cavs.

Championship teams actually don’t get blown out at home.  It happened once in the past like 15-years.  This is important.  Warriors are special. Cavs… are a clear tier below.

Is such a pu**y on the court. Varejao is a beast, so I think if they play the Spurs they’ll have more of a fight since they can give the Spurs bigmen more problems…

But Draymond playing like he is, is so fun to watch.  They have everything going on all cylinders.

Its just fun watching big baby Lebron get unhappy when he’s not used to losing and turn into a thug, getting all aggressive and fouling players hard.  Like his boy JR Smith, the absolute clown doing bonehead things.  I’m glad he got thrown out, hearing C Webb go off on "tahts not a flagrant"….its not like C Webb got into heavy altercations on the court in his era.  Yes he watched the Pistons, but its obvious JR Smith took two steps and tried to make a football blow to the guys shoulders.  And then he showed no remorse at all after he did it, like he’s some tough guy.  No, tough guys play great defense, not dirty defense.

BTW, JR Smith and his buddy from the Knicks are losers.  They contribute nothing to winning teams buthave attitudes like they’re Robert Horry and Horace Grant.  Please, JR Smith takes horrible shots that do nothing to get an offense going, and Kyrie is out there showing his dribbling skills but definitely wants his own teammates to watch him too, a lot more than he is watching them.  Kyrie and Kevin Love are just about the worst Big 2 you could have to win you a chip.  Varejao and Thompson and Delly will help you win.

But there is no way you win with Shumpert, JR, Kyrie, and Kevin Love who makes it seem like he’s never been there before, repeatedly.

I LOVE that GSW came in and destroyed them, put away the excuse that they now had their "full squad" + Varejao, and soemhow, Shumpert and JR Smith are factors, just a bunch of losers from the horrible Knicks of years past.

I am just SMH at Love this season. He has now flow with Bron. Puts no hustle points in. Slacks on D mostly becuase he is so slow. Draymond was destroying him. Dray is just way more athletic than Love. Love sucks at picking up the pick n roll swapping players.

Maybe the Cavs try starting Delly at PG, Irving at Sg, Shumpert SF,  Bron at PF and Love at C. To counteract the small ball vs. GSW.

The Cavs play too much hero/isolation ball. And defensively, they need to develop a new gameplan against Curry because Green has become too good now to give him that wide open space after doubling Curry on the screen.

To be honest, Warriors are just a better basketball team at both ends of the floor. The Cavs will most likely make the Finals again, but they’d be lucky to win two games against the Warriors or Spurs.

I mean, so much of this is just Lebron’s decline.  I know it isn’t popular, but he doesn’t have the same lower body strength and athletecism.  It’s already affected his shot, which is just bad right now from range, and now it’s affecting him inside where, lest we forget, he was among the best finishers in NBA history.  We’re at a point where guys like Kawhi and Igoudala can severely limit him.  Irving hasn’t developed enough (partially age, partially injury) and they seem allergic to trying Love on the elbow.

Meanwhile, Green is probably the most irreplacable player in the league.  He fits on every team, every situation.  His game has no holes at this point.  Klay bends defenses as he darts around screens and can be a capable ballhandler.  Barnes hits open shots and holds his own at the 4.  Igoudala is a top 3 wing defender still.  And Steph?  He’s the best player on the planet.

After 2 years of declining results (check his stats) and the eye test, yes. He’s declining. He’s still incredible, a top 2 or 3 player, but he isn’t what he was when he was a defensive monster every night who hit threes and was historic bear the rim.

Trade Love for a 3&D guy.

Thompson, Lebron, Moz, Varajao is a great frontcourt.

He’s surplus to requirements and has great trade value.

        Also he plays no defense!

Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes.  what a joke.  Thats why you never trade for guys that haven’t gone anywhere in the playoffs, those guys have the flu when the going gets tough.  Its a mentality, we all know it we’ve played sports before.  Some guys bear down and raise their games, Kevin Love is a sheep.

He can try all he wants looking like a thug out there…it didn’t change his game at all.  Next time he muscles someone will be the first time.

Draymond is running all over him.

And I personally have seen Jahlil Okafor score ridiculously easily, as well as Duncan and Aldridge.

I would defintiely trade him if they could get anything back.

I’ll tell you what, I’m a Sixers fan, and I DON"T want him.

Cavs get: Jae Crowder, Thad Young

Brooklyn Gets: Own 1st Round pick back, David Lee,

            Boston Gets: Kevin Love

            Who says no?

Trade Love for a 3&D guy.

Thompson, Lebron, Moz, Varajao is a great frontcourt.

He’s surplus to requirements and has great trade value.

        Also he plays no defense!

After 2 years of declining results (check his stats) and the eye test, yes. He’s declining. He’s still incredible, a top 2 or 3 player, but he isn’t what he was when he was a defensive monster every night who hit threes and was historic bear the rim.

I’ve been following the Dubs for over 25 years and watching the Dubs winning the ring last year was great!  So the Dubs won last year vs the Cavs.  And all summer long I heard, they didn’t have Love or Irving, the Dubs were lucky!   Well, on XMAS and last night, the Cavs had a healthy roster and the Dubs still rolled the Cavs in Oaktown and Boringtown Cleveland.  Throw this in…the Dubs won both times without their head coach!   So f@%& off all the haters from last summer and the haters from the beginning of the this season.

the Full credit that they deserve….. No one has figured out how to deal w/ their small ball line up w/ Green at the Center position……

I’m gonna follow up on what one of the poster’s above said when he asked about keeping Wiggins instead of trading for Love…..

W/ how poorly Love fits, what if Clev had Drafted Embiid & just sat on him for 2 years b/c it looks like he’s going to be healthy & if the Sixers had a real NBA team like Clev does, he could have been ready for the playoffs….

The guy is the size of Rudy Gobert w/ Jahlil Okafor’s touch around the rim….. I’m not a Sixers fan so please don’t crush me…. I’m not asking if people think Clev Should have taken Embiid – I realize the answer is clearly a no – no team w/ Title aspirations can wait one year let alone two…..

but what do you think if they DID take him – if they Never found the fractured foot bone after the work out – b/c Clev WAS drooling over him…. What if Clev DID take him & they got stuck with him but Now he was going to be ready in the Spring? Would Clev have a better chance w/ Embiid?
