Does anyone know this guys background?  It sounds like he dominated high school but ended up at IUPUI.  How did everyone miss on him?

 I believe he played at broad ripple which isn’t exactly a top school to play at in the nation lol he was just so short and skinny for a shooting guard. He just got stronger and developed his pg skills while he was at iupui

Jimmer was clearly a great college player and was also a superstar in HS. He took his team to the state championship two or three times.  He played just down the road from Syracuse and they didn’t even look at him because he didn’t have college-level athleticism.  BYU was by far his biggest college offer.  The lack of athleticism thing may have caught up to him in the pros, but that doesn’t change the fact that Syracuse felt really stupid for three years when he was blowing up box scores in college.

He had a scholarship to Florida, but his grandfather died, so he decided to stay close to his family and go downtown to IUPUI.

I was probably the only user on this site that said not only Hill, but Courtney Lee too, would be first round draft picks.

I liked him idk why he slipped everyone said he was an under sized sg but that draft class was deep alot of good players went late.Leave it to the spurs to snatch up the gems.
