TomShoeParticipantDo you think they’re going to get the big L tonight? Are the Knicks going to try and tank this game?
Who do you think the Knicks will want to face most in the 1st round?
The Bulls, with Rose’s health questionable?
The Heat, with their below average 3-pt defense?
Post thoughts here.

ChrisCrossParticipantI hate that ppl just assume Davis is going to Charlotte, most years the worst team doesn’t win the lotto. But yea they suck a lot, the only guy worthy of being a starter is Henderson.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI bet New Orleans win the lottery.

DipoTimeParticipantYa really the chance they get him is 25%.. In other words there is a 75% chance they DON’T get Davis. Ya their odds are greater than other teams but I still don’t like their chances

jalendean2Unpopular as it may sound, I think that the Bobcats are better off not winning the lottery. At first I thought getting Davis is the best case scenario, but look at the roster. Bismack Biyombo, Tyrus Thomas, BJ Mullens and DeSagana Diop are all going to be on the roster and no other team wants them with the exception of maybe Biyombo which would mean get rid of last years #1 or carry 5 bigs if you draft Davis. The Bobcats need pieces not a piece and I think them getting the 3rd pick would be the best case scenario. They could then trade down in the draft without feeling bad. Heres what I prupose with the 3rd pick. Trade to Houston Rockets for #14 and #17 plus they take Corey Magette and Tyrus Thomas for Samuel Dalembert. So the Rockets would get pick 3, Tyrus Thomas and Corey Magette; the Bobcats would get Sam Dalembert and picks #14 and #17. Now you have Dalembert, Mullens, Diop, and Biyombo upfront, Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson in the backcourt and #14, #17 and #31. Hope they are available choices with those picks are Terrence Jones, SF, Kentucky; Marquis Teague, PG, Kentucky; Draymond Green, 2-4, Michigan State. They wouldn’t be great yet and would be lottery again but then would only have Biyombo, Mullens, Walker, Henderson, Jones, Teague and Green under contract and probably a top 5 pick. Say they get #1 next year somehow and add Muhammed. Then say they sign a free agent with some talent like Al Jefferson. Then they roll out a starting lineup of Teague, Muhammed, Jones, Biyombo and Jefferson with Walker, Henderson, Green and Mullens off the bench. Add one more big guy to the bench and you have a legit 10 man rotation. I know this is a lot of if an or but, but it’s why I think the Bobcats are better not getting pick number 1.

aamir543ParticipantWell, 1 in 4 odds aren’t the best, but they’re the best odds out there. Although I’m gonna be praying my heart out that my dubs get our rightfully deserved top 7 pick and that all of this tanking finally pays off, however the Bobcats are headed in the right direction. Giving themselves a shot at a franchise changer, even if they get Davis they’ll suck again next year, give Kemba and Bismack some more experience, they have a bright future IF they pick correctly.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIt is hard to believe drafting a combo guard to who can’t and a backup center in Spain who lost a game of one-on-none did not pay immediate dividends.
