I’m eager to see him get more minutes or a starting role because he came in league ready to contribute right away. He has a really good jumper, and I thought he was a pretty good athlete but he is better in that department than I thought can really get above the rim. He can be a great on ball defender similar to a lot of smallish guards Linsey Hunter, Joe Dumars and perhaps Shannon Brown. I’m not saying he is an all star, but he plays under control and knows what he does well.

I thought he was underrated coming in the draft, and compared him somewhat similar to Avery Bradly with a jumper coming out. However, he has better handles and is a superior athlete.

Avery Bradley is a fantastic athlete- he is much faster than Harris laterally. Harris may have a better vertical, which even that I’m not sure about, but saying Harris is a superior athlete is a major slight to Bradley

Debatable. I think he is the better athlete, but you have the benefit of watching one guy in the league for some time now. That could sway someones opinion making it slightly bias.

He and Mudiay will be a great fit together defensively similar to what Smart and Bradley provide defensively for Boston. Obviously Smart and Bradley are better. I still can’t believe he shot 20% from 3 last season, but I think that was an anomaly and he will be a good shooter in the future.

Mudiay isn’t even an above average defender. I’m not even sure he’s average. Slow feet laterally, the kind that doesn’t get noticed until the NBA.

      See: D’Angelo Russell

Yeah it’s definitely understated how under control he plays. He plays and attacks like a 2 but makes decisions you would expect out of a pass first type like Steve Blake/Andre Miller. That Izzo background

Whilst you thought he was under rated before the draft…its become apparent that he was properly rated at best.

If I had Door #1 with Avery Bradley, Door #2 With Harris or the mystery player behind Door #3….

I’m taking door #3 and hoping it’s Jamal Murray. Followed by door #1.

Harris hasn’t got much burn, but he is a more complete player than Bradley. Bradley isn’t as good with ball in his hands, and has no passing skills.

Harris has a great all-around game, he’s fantastic on the break and such an underrated passer.. I’ve watched him numerous times drive the lane and instinctively found the open man from the collapse in the paint either from a guy cutting to the lane or a guy open for a three.. He’s going to be a great pairing for Mudiay and I expect this team to be extremely quick on the fast break.. The Nuggets wont make the playoffs but one thing I do know is they will be extremely efficient in transition.
