SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI think Shumpert needs to step up like iggy did last year for the dubs if the cavs have a shot winning the title.

Oryan99ParticipantTT has started since the playoffs began. Richard Jefferson will take Love’s place. Cavs are going small ball.

ChewyParticipantJR is always a question mark. He could go 1-10 or 8-10 with 5 3’s any game he plays in. I think playing at home helped him.
How does TT handle the pick and role defense compared to Love? Playing Lebron at the 4 negates almost all of Draymond’s driving ability.
There is no way Curry/Thompson duo offer up such a pitiful game again this series right?
Side note: I love ESPN’s in depth reporting on Curry’s warm up; interview with parents, constant video tracking him, having a shot counter for makes and misses. All for a warm up. I found it hilariously tedious.

HitsterParticipantLBJ on Green certainly cuts down on Draymond’s offensive options. I’ll be interested to see if GSW look to try and get lots of shots off against Jefferson too.
Huge game at 2-2 the series would be wide open but at 3-1 you’d back GSW to get over the line.
Curry is only averaging 16ppg in the final so he is likely to step up sooner rather than later, if he gets his range then he could win a game on his own.

doubledribblerParticipantAnyone else notice how playoff fouls seem to be called completely different than the regular season? Regular season is touch fouls and playoffs you get calls if you get knocked down (sometimes). I wouldn’t mind to see it be called somewhere in the middle consistently one way all year.

omphalosParticipantNo shame in Love off the bench, it worked for McHale!
But honestly, if Love can’t hang with Golden State’s starters just make him a James Harden/Ginobili bench player where he anchors the second unit.

marcusfizer21ParticipantLeBron’s been passive in the first half… Hope he’d be a bit more aggressive in the second… Cavs could use his scoring punch…

zcnumerounoParticipantIs it something about Golden State that turns opposing teams’ offenses into ISO-happy offenses with no off-ball movement in crunch time? Good God.

Hype MachineThe Cavs offense in the 2nd half was dreadful. Didnt even make it hard for the Warriors because there was no movement or passing.

doubledribblerParticipantLook at their roster. Kyrie doesn’t care to pass. Lebron has moments where the ball sticks in his hands. Everyone else looks too scared to shoot or probably shouldn’t (Thompson, Shumpert).
OKC has been Iso happy for a long time and not sure that changes with the current roster.
Blazers…your best option is Lillard so no use pretending.
Rockets…ISO heavy team all year long. Who else do you want with the ball? Brewer, Beverly, Howard…
The Spurs are probably the only team outside of GS that has any legitimate depth and skill to be able to spread the ball around on offense. A lot of these teams are playing keep away from their own players on offense.

OhCanada-ParticipantThese Warriors just leave great teams helpless. It’s amazing how quickly they can blow you out. Basketball is a game of runs and no team in the history of the NBA goes on runs like this one. Call it whatever you want, go ahead and say they are a product of a softer NBA and rule changes but the reality is if that were true other teams would be doing it or would have done it in the past. Reality is they aren’t and they haven’t. It’s crazy that this was supposed to be Lebrons era and GSW just ripped his heart out, again!
Everybody has to give it up to Lebron though. The guy is amazing and he fights to the final buzzer. One of the greatest to ever play and if you deny that I have no respect for you. But this GSW team is just spectacular and probably the greatest sports team I’ve ever watched play since I understood sports (2000).

doubledribblerParticipantThe Cavs even on their best games are not a great team. It’s Lebron and a bunch of guys that are only good on one side of the ball. Their best lineup move was starting a guy that hasn’t been a starter on a good team in about 5 years.

dudo670ParticipantThe Cavs offense lost this game in the fourth a lot more than Golden State’s D won it. Lebron and Kyrie do more pointless dribbling than almost any two players in the game, at least when Westbrook dribbles a lot he’s always attacking the hoop. The Cavs spent the fourth quarter dribbling a lot, with little movement off ball, few screens being set, and they took a lot of bad shots. There were possessions where the Warriors played great D (like Klay stopping Kyrie 1 on1 in transition to name one off the top of my head), but for the most part the Cavs bailed them out with poor offense and poor shot selection. Kyrie shot a decent percentage tonight but he killed his team for a lot of the game with a lot of bad shots early in the shot clock. And Lebron refuses to accept that he can’t shoot or dribble like MJ or Kobe and that he needs to being playing on the low block on offense where he would be unstoppable, either bruising guys inside or kicking it out to open shooters.
Also, lets not forget, without a horrific choke job by Durant and Westbrook, we would be talking about those two claiming their first title and about the Warriors being one of the teams with the greatest regular seasons who didn’t win a title. The Warriors are a great team, but when you consider their best player was 11/25 and their second/third best player depending on who you ask was 2/9, its crazy to think they won this game on the road. They won by 11 and made 11 more threes in the game, so perhaps that’s your answer.

D7H7NParticipantYes Golden State usually beats other teams because they shoot a lot of 3s. The sky is also blue.
