The twolves aquired Beasley last night. This creates even more of a logjam at positions now. There roster as of now looks like

*- plays more than one position

**- can play up to 3 positions

PG: Jonny Flynn/ Ramon Sessions*/(rubio in a few years)

SG: Martell Webster*/ Corey Brewer*/ Wayne Ellington*

SF: Wesley Johnson*/ Lazar Hayward*/ Nemanja Bjelica**

PF: Al Jefferson*/Kevin Love*/ Michael Beasley*

    C: Darko Milicic/ Nikola Pekovic/ Ryan Hollins

We have way too many Forwards, and i think we should look to trade for either a legitimate center or a better SG.

    Some trade ideas are

    Jefferson to Bobcats for Chandler

Jefferson, Brewer to Pistons for Monroe, Hamilton

Jefferson, Flynn, Brewer to Pacers for Granger.

Personally i would love for the wolves to do the pacers deal, and hope that this motivates Rubio to come over. I think this roster in a few years is very dangerous.

    PG:Rubio /Ramon Sessions

    SG:Wesley Johnson/ Martell Webster/ Wayne Ellington

SF: Danny Granger/ Lazar Hayward*/ Nemanja Bjelica

    PF: Kevin Love/ Michael Beasley

    C: Darko Milicic/ Nikola Pekovic/ Ryan Hollins

In a few years this could be a high seeded playoff team.

they are just stockpiling talent which isnt a bad thing unless you want immediate success. i am very sure they will move jefferson and another forward at some point in time. they have got the young talent and could use it as trade bait later this season.

Stockpiling talent is one thing, but if the players don’t get the minutes to grow and develop the talent isn’t going to be worth squat.

I read that minny is gonna play beasley at the 3. He wasn’t that bad at the three in Miami although he wasn’t great either. I thunk he will have more confidence with minny knowing he can be the best player there if he plays his best. I like how minny is looking for the future

The TWolves actually have been doing pretty good in terms of accumulating young talent/picks. However, I am not sure if their drafting has been as good.

I can certainly see they develop into a solid playoff in 2 years though. With so many young players, they can probably package them into a star later.

Much better than trying to patch a team that does not even have a star player (e.g. Toronto Raptors).

Minny has a lot of young guys who could be something but they have pieces but nothing that resembles a team as of now.

The TWolves’ biggest need is a legit starting Center.

    Milicic…..haha please

    Pekovic….no way

    Hollins… nope

All three are mediocre bench players.

Love or Jefferson need to go.  Preferably Jefferson.

for the last time.. beasley is not a pf… he played the spot in miami because they had an extremely thin frontcourt..

    the lineup will be

    flynn
    johnson
    beasley
    love
    jefferson

i dont keep up with the t’wolves, but regardless of the baggage beasley carries, the t’wolves made one hell of a deal last night to get beasley. He is a VERY talented young player, and that was an awesome deal for them. I say they got a long ways to go but props for basically getting beasley, already a 15 and 6 player as a gift from the generous miami heat

they should try and trade jefferson for alexis ajinca (and another player) from the bobcats ,,, i dont how the salaries would work but in the summer league i like the ajinca is playing he can hit the midrange jumper ,,, and with beasley and love both being able to hit the three that would give flynn room to attack the lane and pitch the ball if its not there ..

Al Jefferson for Tyson Chandler? Really!? That is one of the worst trade ideas I have ever heard on this site.

Al Jefferson: 17.1 points and 9.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks

Tyson Chandler: 6.5 points 6.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks

You don’t trade jefferson for a player who’s playing well in the summer leauge. I mean come on. It’s summer leauge. I can name many other big men who come off the bench for other teams who can hit mid range shoots against d leauge big men in the summer leauge. You don’t give away al Jefferson for that

LOL, and Ajinca is really not even playing THAT good. He’s not ready to play major minutes for the Bobcats, and he’s not better than Darko or Hollins. And he’ll NEVER be better than Jefferson. That’s a silly trade

Chandler was traded to the rockets in that Jeffries deal… I thought.

As a Twolves fan, I used to hate David Kahn. Now I don’t. Good for him doing something good. This team is in a MUCH better place than it was when he took over.

The best part about Beasley is that we can have him for the next 2 years at a reasonable salary number!!! if he doesn’t turn out, we can drop him after either of the next two years. But, if he reaches his potential, we can have him for darn cheap for two years!!!!!

I think we should trade Love now. I think we can get more value for him. If I had to guess the starting lineup, though, for next season:

    Flynn
    Webster
    Beasley
    Love
    Milicic
