 Alright, alright, alright. This is the first iteration of my 2014 Mock Draft on here, though I have been closely following the NCAA and waste about half of each workday reading up on it. I included comments on at least every first-rounder. I’d love it if you all would check it out and let me know what you think!

Pretty solid. and definitely could happen. I do feel that if Embiid’s back becomes a bigger problem and keeps him out during the tournament, his stock will be affected somewhat. The bucks already have Sanders and Henson, so even if Embiid is healthy they could definitely go with Wiggins or Parker (more likely Wiggins because he can play the 2). Assuming Embiid went first, I would take Parker over Wiggins if I were Philly. This team needs someone who can lead the team offensively and who can score the basketball. MCW is not a good scorer or shooter, and the only reason he is averaging 17 ppg is because the majority of his teammates belong in the dleague. I feel that there is a chance that Wiggins will not become a great scorer/offensive player, so I feel that Philly should take the guy who is more likely to become an offensive superstar. Exum is a bit high IMO, we really do not know much about him and we have not seen him play against high competition enough, so I would go with Randle instead. Other than that, I would move up Selden, Warren, and Markel Brown just a bit.

 I like your lottery a lot. With so much great talent in this class, it’s really hard to narrow it down to 1 player anyone really likes but I really like Hood a lot and would not be surprised if he goes a little higher than #9.

By all means Hairston is a talented player but I just cannot see him that high due to all the legal distractions but I like how you went outside the box.

T.J. Warren would be a better selection for Atlanta with what they have right now if they are looking for a tweener.

I know this may sound weird to you but it just seems a bit cliche` to me that Kyle Anderson would be selected by OKC. 

Neither Harrison twin would come out if they are going to slide that far.

You may be right about Hairston, but I just feel like some GM is going to disregard the behavioral issues and give him a shot because he definitely has late-lottery talent. The only thing I don’t understand (and you did qualify your statement as "weird"), but I don’t understand why Kyle Anderson to OKC is cliche? Just curious, what you meant by that. Thanks a lot for the notes!

 It just appears that it’s a given they are projected by everyone to take a 6’9”-7’0” guy if they have a little skill because they kind of have a history of stock-piling size. Wasn’t coming at your neck or anything like that/

Very solid and one of the better ones I have seen so far. The only thing I don’t like is Aaron Gordon falling out of the lottery, but he is also a hard guy to peg. When it’s all said and done I think he goes somewhere in the 8-14 range though. Very solid 1st round OP.

 You’re right about Aaron Gordon being hard to peg. He is easily the most divisive prospect in the first round. He ranges from 8-23 depending on who’s doing the mock.

If Philly drafts both Harrison twins, Sam Hinkie should be given the Gaddafi treatment.

They are terrible!  They both have log legs, and for two guys at 6’6” neither of them can finish.  They are giving Calipari an aneurysm and I woudln’t be surprised if its those two that made Calipari take a job with the Knicks!

I bet Randle Cauley-Stein, Young, Dakari and the boys cannot wait to leave Kentucky!

I would be shocked it Hairston goes in the lotto. I think he can be an effective NBA player but I see him going later in the first.

I would put Montrez much higher…maybe switch them and put Harrell at 14…he’s been a beast and a half lately.
