I have not rooted for the S, since rony siekly but i think wesley and the team are a legitemit final 4 team and worthy of a 1 seed this year!

I agree that Syracuse will be number one if they win by 10 or more regardless of what Purdue does tomorrow. They are manhandling a very good Villanova squad.

I called it at the beginning of the year, Syracuse is a Final 4 squad. Perfect blend of perimeter and post offense and defense.
Andy Rautins has OUTSTANDING court vision. Intriguing blend of shooting skills and passing ability.
Onuaku has been a bull down low, especially on the offensive glass.
Scoop Jardine makes Syracuse’s offense runs sooo much more fluid than Triche IMO.
Kris Joseph has some promising slashing ability.
Wesley Johnson shot isn’t falling much, but he’s been a freak on the glass and has drawn fouls.
Rick Jackson is playing like he’s played basketball before lol. Can’t always say that. He’s shown a nice jump hook.

We SHUT IT DOWN!!!! The real beauty of the zone is that it makes you work hard on offense and tire the team out. Its extremely exhausting to attack a zone well every possession. Syracuse’s excellent passing and and, in this game, superior size are too much to handle. This is the epitome of team basketball this season, and in the beautiful Carrier Doom, and as a Syracuse alum, I can say I haven’t been happier.

i think they are a top team, but c’mon man kentucky is still the best team. The rankings wont show but i still thin the cats are a fav. to win the title this year. Syracuse are a legitimate team to contend! We all know any thing happens in a one and done tourney. So anything can happen. By the way GO CUSE

I would just like to congratulate the newest #1 team in the country. I just got home from the game and man was the loud house rockin’. I was at Gmacs last home game as well, which was the previous on campus attendance record setter(also against nova) and this game blew it out of the water, something special is in this cold syracuse air and im loving it. Props to Dhamp for reppin cuse during the game and updating the forum, This team has something special and i cant waitt til march.
