shipargosParticipantIn your opinion, who is the fist rounder with the lowest BKB IQ
Who will be the next Gerald Green?I Think Young, Budinger and Mullens doesnt stand out in this category.
What do you think?

mb6297Any player that went to a top 25 college school will have decent basketball IQ.
Although Mullens went to Ohio State, I’m going to say him just because he was a freshman.
It’s incredible how many Juniors and seniors are in this year’s draft.

auberParticipantTaj Gibson is this guy in a nutshell for me. A year ahead of his class, but he’s never had the big picture from his performance. I think he’s a first rounder because of a weak draft class and ends up being a serviceable big man at best like Chris Wilcox.

phsportsParticipantDaJuan Summers. So many mental errors this past season.
Mullens is a freshman, so I give him a pass.

Thunder09Participantfrom what ive seen its Thabeet. Overall he would be a huge project in the nba with his BBall IQ

Csharp3410ParticipantThabeet knows how to block shots and post up…..but OVERALL knowing the game of basketball, his IQ probably isnt very good, I think he started playing ball at a very late age also.
Mullens is young so i also will let him pass.
Demar DeRozans IQ probably isnt very good in my opinion. In High School he got by all on athleticism and not actually knowing the game, that is why he struggled early in the year.

JNixonParticipantLowest bball IQ is obviously Thabeet. But besides him I think Jordan Hill(he is a close 2nd to Thabeet)

MuggsyParticipantI agree with DeRozan, he seems like a Gerald Green 2.0. Oh wow he can dunk. Plus he went to USC. But if I’m not hating on USC…Thabeet probably isn’t the most intelligent. His job is to stand there and hold his arms up and swat at the big orange round thing, or on offense, stand there, catch the big orange thing(this might be hard), and spike it through the big orange hole. I’m so glad the NBA color coded everything the same, I’m sure Thabeet is too.

sheltwon3ParticipantDemar DeRozans actually improved as the season went along and got a lot of good shots in the offense which mean he learns the game pretty well. He is also a freshmen and had a lot on his shoulders and he delivered in some big game for USC. Mullens should be on the list and Chase because there is no reason why he should not have dominated college and also he lacks some fundamentals.

MuggsyParticipantI know, I was just simply hating on USC. I do that often. You make a good point with Chase though…
