Awesome-O-420ParticipantHere is my first mock draft, with some added comments. I tried to explain some of my reasoning for the slightly different draft order, so let me know what you guys think.

SwatLakeCityParticipant- Detroit picking Alec Burks. Burks is not a very good outside shooter, nor is Stuckey. Infact Stuckey is more of a two guard than he is a PG. If the Pistons selected Burks they would have one of the poorest outside shooting backcourts in the league. I don’t think they want that.
- I like Utah picking Irving at 3 so no problems here, although I do have a problem with the 12th pick. Hamilton would be a good pick but I’m not quit sure if he is really needed or even necessary. Utah is going to be losing AK for sure, they need to replace him ASAP. So if they don’t do it with the 3rd pick they had better do it with the 12th. Possible replacements are Derrick Williams, Jan Vesely, Chris Singleton and Tobias Harris. Hamilton would be a good pick but would not solve the issue of AK leaving which I think is more important. An AK replacement must be able to play defense. That is one thing that Hamilton is definitely lacking in.
- Houston desperately needs a Center. If Biyombo is still available at 14, then I have no doubt that Houston will snatch him up. They have needed to replace Yao since 2007! Can’t pass up this oppurtunity now.
- Washington will likely go with a two guard with on of their picks. N. Young might leave because he is not being used much and Jordan Crawford has outperformed him. Yet Crawford might be better suited as 6th man energy type player instead of the starting 2 guard. Klay Thompson might go here, but no way Wizards select two PF’s when they already have Blatche signed on for quite awhile.
- Tobias Harris will likely go higher then 26. He is viewed as mid first rounder, but could slip into the lottery. (Same with Chris Singleton)
- Parsons is likely to go 2nd round. The Bulls desperately need a 2 guard. If Marshon Brooks is still there, there’s no doubt that Chicago will pass on him.
- Singler is also likely to go in the second round.
- Where’s Nikola Vucevic and Nikola Mirotic, and Marshon Brooks? All of them are likely 1st round candidates and definitely helped there stock over the season and at the combine
