nick5354ParticipantEarly thoughts;
Cannot believe the Cavs run woith injuries, now Shump has been taking to the locker room.
How good is Dellys Defense on curry. I am finding myself just watching Delly guard Curry when the GSW has the ball.
Good to see LBJ attacking even though he has struggled to finish.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantI really like Golden State, think they are a great team that has been built right. but i am finding myself rooting for LeBron, maybe I just want to be a Witnness to something great.

nick5354ParticipantI think it is just the story line which has been getting even more increidble: Two All-Stars out, LBJ putting up historical numbers, an undrafted grinder PG trying to stop the MVP, TT just dominating the boards, a very much underdog team coming up against the best regular season team and the fact the city of Cleveland is straving for a Championship

Ahkasi ClayParticipantonly 6 shots, 17% for the first half. this is the MVP. he has to insert himself into the game more or the Warriors are in trouble.

kingofbumsParticipantThe offball def delly is putting on curry is just incredible to watch. It takes so much energy to do that and delly hasnt lost a step. Itll be interesting to see what kerr changes in his offense. He didnt need to make many adjustments all season as they won 67 games with a powering offense. This series will be a great testament to how great of a coach he really is.

nick5354ParticipantIm glad others are appreciating how good Delly is to watch off the ball on defense. I am just watching that match up on defense all the time and just in ore of the effort Delly is putting in.
Curry seriously needs to stop pouting/complaining and dropping his head over how Delly is guarding him. He is dropping his head to much, which is really dissapointing to see in the MVP.

trelos6ParticipantRegardless of the outcome, LBJ is the Finals MVP.
He may even put up an average of 40/10/10 in the finals!
MJ put up 41 ppg in 1993, I hope LBJ breaks that.
Anyways, I can’t believe how rugged the Cavs are playing. TT is dominating the boards, LBJ is dominating every facet of the game.
I expected Warriors to roll the Cavs in 4, but now I wouldn’t be surprised if Cavs win in 5. LBJ is showing how much he wants to win #3.

BleedGreen808ParticipantYou can tell this is more than just about his 3rd championship. This is the one for Cleveland. What he is doing is unreal with all the injuries. This is the first time a team in the finals is without two 1000 point scorers in the season. If the Cavs win the finals it has to be one of the greatest wins with the way the team is playing through adversity.

220ParticipantThe Cavs are dominating the Warriors and forcing them to play their style. I’m shocked, but there is no denying that between Lebron on offense and the Cavs defense the Warriors can’t seem to get anything going.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI like them putting Lee in the game. For all his deficiencies on defense, hes still an excellent decision maker and finisher in the pick and roll, and the warriors other bigs were struggling in that regard.

omphalosParticipantI don’t understand how Lebron was allowed to slide-tackle Curry and the refs did nothing.
That’s probably the worst call in a close Finals game that I’ve ever seen.
He just crashes in and sweeps Curry’s legs out, then they give Dellavedova free throws because people dived on him going for the ball.
How is there not more outrage over this?
Instead of Curry on the free throw line to make it a 3 point game, Delly gets sent to the line to make it 7.
That is a HUGE swing in the final 2 minutes.
It just boggles my mind that JVG, Mark Jackson and Mike Breen just let it pass without commenting on it.

dmo21ParticipantI was wondering why I was the only one mad that the refs didn’t call a foul on Lebron on that play. The commentators just called it "great hustle" which is BS.

Willfb3ParticipantThis one’s far from over. Mr. Curry finally realized the finals are underway in the fourth there, and I bet he keeps that rolling. Also, David Lee finally got a chance and he’ll change the serise from here on out. Bogut has been horrendous and let TT and Moz run his show. Lee will give some help on the boards as well as offensively. This one ain’t over.

Reptilian MonkParticipantWow Warriors outrebounded the cavs 18 to 6 on the offensive boards. They got 14 more FG attempts, that is troubling for Golden State. Curry runs the offensive at the start if not flowing or hitting shots in begining they let down. They do well in the fourth offfesively the entire playoffs when they play desperate and care free.

sitlbitoParticipantOne thought about LBJ,I don’t think he’s better than he was two years ago,for example whenhe gets the switch on Barbosa, and takes a stupid 3pts fade away, airballs it,shot clock wiolation, that wouldn’t have happened 2 years ago. But he’s terrific though.
Warriors just can’t put Barnes on the floor. I don’t know, play Iguodala 40 minutes if you have to,but Barnes brings absolutly nothing right now.
The Warriors come back is not a good sign for the cavs, and maybe the frst sign that eventually the Cavs are gonna be seriously worn down(Dellavedova got treatment at an hospital for severe cramping). And,Curry’s shot is back.
Last thing though,I think it’s too bad there’s about 5 threads about the finals. I get that some of you wnt to emphasize their points on their own threads,I get that, but why not put everything here? That’s why the thread is there for. Anyway terrific series until now, hope it goes 7 games.
