Doubt the Bulls would do that. Johnson has looked pretty good in the preseason and was their first round pick just a year ago. There would have to be a first round pick involved and I doubt the Pacers would do that. Plus, Chicago is loaded at the 2.

How about Dahntay Jones and Solomon Jones for Brandon Bass, as Orlando doesn’t really use him at all and have many other guys that can play his position. Dahntay would be a nice defender off the bench, and Solomon would just be Solomon. Also, Bass would fill the Pacers void at power forward, he would definitely start over McRoberts and Hansborough.

That really is a shame, Rolle could have been a sleeper success for the Pacers. With any luck he’ll find a home in the D-League and the Pacers will be able to clear a spot for him at some point during the season.

I’m disappointed Bird couldn’t find a way to keep Rolle. Rolle won’t be available for very long. I’m sure teams are calling right now.
