    I do’t know how may remember Felipe Lopez, but he was a highly hyped prospect who was a real recruiting coup for St Johns.  Really never made an impact on the NBA.  This article does a pretty good job of reflecting on his story.

     The best part about all of this is watching one of the videos in the article and hearing the name "Scientific Math".  Man what parents that guy had.

     Scientific Mapp, brother of one time prospect Majestic Mapp. Majestic sufferered a terrible knee injury and never lived up to his NY hype at Virginia. By the way, this is my first post in 6 months since going to travel through Central/Latin America. I am now living in Antigua, Guatemala if any heads are down this way!! Peace and Bball!!

       Lol okay, I was going to say… that is an unbelievable name which is destined for success.  Scientific Mapp doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, in fact…. if his last name wasn’t Math, what business does Scientific have being a first name.

    lloyd ”sweet pea” daniels was another highly regarded kid from ny that didnt pan out…to me he was more talented than lopez..but drugs,hanging around the wrong people,a lack of self discipline and education doomed him….
