Afactor4ParticipantFor example, my favorite version of the Clippers was the generation from the 2000 season to the 2002 season.
The lineup looked something like…
PG Jeff McInnis
SG Quentin Richardson
SF Darius Miles
PF Lamar Odom (who was injured half the time, the one player on the team i disliked)
C Michael OlowakandiAnd off the bench you had Corey Maggette, Eric Piatkowski, Keyon Dooling, Sean Rooks, Earl Boykins, Cherokee Parks LOL etc…
What’s the favorite version of your team???

Carter and TMac are two of the most selfish players in the league, they would NEVER have worked.
I HATE the Heat, but I do think that LeBron and Wade can work.
There is zero chance TMac would have jelled with Vince Carter

Toronto16Participant@Godfather So were Kobe and Shaq, and they worked. At the end of the day it comes down to how much these players want to win. Futhermore, T-Mac and Vince were cousins, they wouldn’t have bickered with one another about shots.

uneik1ParticipantI believe it was Riley first year as Knicks coach
PG: Mark Jackson (The general)
SG: Gerald Wilkins (aka: Jordan stopper, lol) we know that wasn’t true.
SF: Xavier McDaniel (the crazy man who shaved his eye brows to look more intimidating)
PF: Charles Oakley (the enforcer)
C: Patrick Ewing (The Franchise that never delivered)Bench: John Starks, Kiki vandeweghe, Anthony Mason, Greg Anthony
I wish that team would have stayed together for more than one year. They gave the Bulls all they could handle. X Man had Pippen on lock in the playoffs. Damn I miss those rivalries instead of all the buddy buddy shit we got in the NBA now.

GodfatherParticipantChurchboy, Kobe and Shaq played different positions.
Just because they are cousins doesn’t mean that they would be so gracious to each other.
And I agree, it comes down to how much these players want to win, which is exactly why I don’t think they would work.
TMac has never played in the second round, and Vince is the least clutch player in the league.0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/28/2010 - 6:28am #364158

Toronto16Participant@Godfather Right, but when they were both playing in Toronto, they use to push each other to play better. That’s why VInce became the star he was when he first started out. He and T-Mac would out do each other night after night, amazing highlights every night in T.O. After T-Mac left, Vince never played as hard and T-Mac was detroyed by injuries.

SubZeroParticipantI’m not a Lakers fan, but I loved the Fisher-Kobe-Fox-Horry-O’Neal team.
And the Bibby-Christie-Stojakovic-Webber-Divac Kings team. Watching those 2 teams go at each other was amazing to watch
But I’m a Thunder fan and the current team is one of my favorites of all time also. For some reason it feels different watching highlights of the Thunder. You can tell they have chemistry together

Afactor4ParticipantSpeaking as a neutral, I concur with most about the early 2000’s Sacramento Kings team. They had the clutch PG with great range, the “Kobe-stopper”, the sharp shooter with a decent all around game, and the “franchise” talent PF. Their bench was also filled with some great and exciting role players.
