JoeWolf1This guy seems to be a beast of a physical specimen. Do you think he is one and done at Syracuse due to his upside or do you think he will stay longer to develop. From what i’ve seen and heard about him he seem pretty raw, but do you think his pure physical stature and strength will get him big numbers and a lottery selection this in 11?

JoeWolf1Darko???? i don’t see that at all, Maybe Chris Kaman or Joel Pryzbilla if he doesn’t develop many offensive moves, his size and wingspan i think would make him a good rebounding shot blocker in the league. If he does develop more i think he could be a lot better.

eprizzle14ParticipantHe’s not extremely fluid from what I’ve seen, but how many big men are these days? Decent touch/mobility which makes him a first rounder, probable lottery guy and If Thabeet can be the #2 pick who knows.

JoeWolf1yeah, He is built like Oden, but i don’t think he is quite as agile, or quick. Playing under Jim Boeheim will most certainly help, he’s one of the best coaches in college ball, so depending on Melo’s desire to learn that could be a really good situation for him.

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantI think he’ll be much better than Kaman or Pryz, in fact I think he would do better offensively in the NBA than Pryz right now. He’s got an offensive style that translates well to the NBA I think. He doesn’t just sit there and dominate physically, he has talent and skill. At 7′ 230 or whatev he is he won’t be able to dominate physically in the upper levels. Thats the good sign. He could surprise everyone and develop muscles like Howard but because of his skill set I find that unlikely…

JoeWolf1He is big, you are right he needs some strength, but that will come with age just the age difference between 17 and 19-21 and a college conditioning program will put him there, if he could keep his 270 pound frame but just make him more developed he will have NBA size for certain.

JNixonParticipantYea, I like him. He has alot of offensive talent, and I think he will have a Roy Hibbert (Jr. year) type freshman season. At his size, that kind of season is good enough to get him in the NBA after his frshman yr.

PaulsJayhawksParticipantHe’s huge, soft hands but I think with the bigs coming out he should stay in school. Aldrich, Favours, Monroe, Aminu, Motiejunas etc he will slip out of the lottery for sure.

HaleParticipantI think he will be a solid guy in the NBA. In college he will probably stay ofr 2 years, maybe one then go mid first round.

marcusfizer21Participantnbadraft.net had him compared to the late Kevin Duckworth, that to me gives an intriguing look at this prospect… Duckworth was a solid C for Portland way back… Hope Fab will get his chance at Cuse
