We hope that Chris Webber, Ray Jackson, and Juwan Howard are somewhere laying low and playing it cool right now, since the fates are evidently cracking down on the once-Fab Five. And by the fates, we mean the cops. Jalen Rose is halfway through a 20-day stretch in the pokey after pleading guilty to DUI, and now Jimmy King has been arrested and housed in the same facility (actually, we assume he’s out on bail by now) for failure to pay over $17,000 in child support. As if that wasn’t bad enough, King was arrested on his 38th birthday at a church after authorities saw his name on a basketball camp the church was holding. Whew.

Jimmy King, a part of Michigan’s "Fab Five" teams in the early 90s, was arrested this week on charges of failing to pay child support, the Detroit Free Press reported late Wednesday.

King was arrested without incident on his 38th birthday Tuesday at a Detroit church. Authorities said they had been trying to contact King for weeks about the missed payments, then saw his name advertised on a flier for a basketball camp at the church, the report said.
As of Wednesday night, King was reportedly being held at the Oakland County Jail on a $3,500 bond. He was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of failing to pay child support, which is a felony charge carrying a maximum penalty of four years in prison.
State Attorney General spokesman John Sellek said King owes a total of $17,209 for one child.
King arrived at Michigan along with fellow top freshmen Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard and Ray Jackson, helping the Wolverines reach two straight national title games in 1992 and ’93. He went on to a brief NBA career from 1995-97, and now operates J King Solar Technologies.
According to the company’s website, which lists King as president/CEO, it "designs and installs solar energy systems for commercial, residential and industrial properties."
Former teammate Rose has been jailed since Aug. 2 at the same facility where King is being held. Rose, the point guard of the "Fab Five" teams, is serving a 20-day sentence after pleading guilty to drunken driving.

Overcome their problems? There were plenty of ways fir them to avoid their situations
Jalen = get a designated driver
King = wear a rubber

Gotta agree with McBased here, all of the problems could be solved with grown men taking some responsibility here. Jalen Rose im sure can afford a cab or a designated driver he’s had a long NBA career and i’m sure ESPN paid him pretty damn good. Im not gonna kill Jimmy King here becuase slip ups happen while having sex with or without condoms…..but u do have a responsibility to the mother of your child and your child as a man to step up an own up to your actions.
