…I get sad, because as a T-Wolves fan, I’m pissed that they lose that #1 pick to the Clippers. Pretty much anybody in this draft > Marko Jaric. I would legitimately give up Kevin Love and/or Derrick Williams for that pick. DAMN YOU, KEVIN MCHALE!!!

Its a painful lifestyle as a T-Wolves fan.  I suggest rehab, but it never works for me as I was raised to be loyal.  As much as I try to like other teams, Bulls, Kings (still rough I know), OKC, my loyalty will not let me leave the T-Wolves or Sixers.  It does make making the playoff all the more satisfying though, particularly when your squad can steal a game from the LBJ lead "Big Three".  And if that championship one day comes for my Sixers or Wolves, I’d like to think I’m gonna appreciate it more than if I became a run of the mill Lakers, Heat…etc. fan.

would you trade Ricky Rubio to get that pick back? You know we could use a young point guard if Eric Bledsoe dosent pan out

I would imagine it’s not easy being a T-Wolves fan. As a Sixers fan, I have had to live in a similar circumstance as T-Wolves fans and quite frankly it sucks. The good news is that both teams are awesome in 2K12. Bad news is that neither teams will have a top 5 pick in a potentially loaded draft.

"would you trade Ricky Rubio to get that pick back?"

Ricky Rubio, Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin together would be nothing short of dynamic. Combine those three with shooters and defenders and the Clippers would be the most exciting team in the league.

As much as I love Rubio, his stock at the moment is probably lower than an almost certain top-5 pick in a loaded draft. Fun to think about though.

Sorry guys but the being a Sixers fan is a lot better.. When was the last time the Wolves won more than 30 games again?? Oh yeah…

If I were Kahn I would trade Beasely and Rubio to Clippers for our pick plus one of their back up PG’s. Because lets be honest, Ricky Rubio is not the answer in Minnesota but he could thrive in LA playing with Griffin. Even if the Wolves couldn’t get Drummond (that would be a God send), I would go with Teague or even Sullinger.

Either way, the Wolves are straight screwed for the next two years because of that bone head Jaric trade. Ahhhh the life of a Wolves fan. Hell, even a Minnestoa sports team fan.

The whole reason the sixers were brought up is cuz i am a philly and minny fan.  No comparison was really made and while it is far worse being a wolves fan, being a sixers can hasnt been easy but thigs are looking up.  The wolves could be nice soon as well barring the reocurring setbacks.  With no pick in the 1st maybe it will prevent us from a candyman mishap though.

McFail traded a potential lottery pick for that scrub Morko Jaric?!? LOL I know hindsight is 20/20, but he should’ve known it wouldn’t work out from the start.

As a Clippers supporter, I’m very happy. I’ve been looking forward to the 2012 draft for awhile.

@butidonthavemoney: Yes. Without any hesitation. Some of these guys have potential to be people you can build a franchise around (i.e. Davis, Drummond); you’d take that in a second if it means giving up a guy who will put butts in the seats and may or may not be good.

@McBased: So true. How a ridiculously hot girl like her is with a guy who may even rival Sam Cassell for weird faces is a question nobody will ever answer. Also, loving the Lil’ B reference in your name. He’s the best worst rapper I’ve ever heard! Everytime I hear "Ellen DeGeneres", I die laughing.

@IndianaBasketball: I’m jealous. Can you imagine a frontcourt with Griffin AND Drummond?! That’s not even remotely fair.

I seriously thought there were no more than like 6 Wolves fans on this site… No way are there that many. I don’t remember the last time the Wolves arena was even close to being half full…….. WOOOO gotta love the dedicated fans!

As nice of players as they are, I don’t think either of them can be legit #1 options on a championship team. Kevin Love is a lot like Pau Gasol early on in his career- putting up huge numbers on a team that’s total crap. He would be an amazing #2 option on a title team, but he just doesn’t have the defensive ability or athleticism needed to be a franchise guy. As for Derrick Williams, he’s got slightly more of a chance, but he doesn’t have a true position. It’s still a mystery as to whether he’s going to be a beast or a bust. I would gladly give either of them up to have a shot at the #1 pick in this years draft, where there are some players that can possibly change the course of a franchise in Drummond or Davis, for example.

I hate it for you Wolves fans, but I cant wait to see where those ping pong ball drops and where the Clippers will be picking. The ONLY good thing about not having a season is because they should let the Wolves pick be as high as it can be. Having Adelman coach will only definitely make it lower

You think it’s rough for you guys, try being a laker fan. It’s… Oh wait, it’s friking awesome being a laker fan. As for trading love or Williams or a lotto pick, I could see that. But both? Hell nah.

The Clippers had to face seeing the Cavs get top pick after a trade this year so the T-Wolves deal might balance it out, a few trades do come back to hurt teams and the Jaric trade could be such.
