their favorite team has NEVER gone through a rebuilding period. Remember when the Spurs tanked out their season to get TD? Remember when Pierce wanted to be traded? Remember when Kobe wanted to be traded? Every franchise goes through a rebuilding phase. The Knicks aren’t even as bad as yall say they are. Davd Lee is probably one of the most underrated players, Nate Robinson is on the most exciting players. It’s not yet certain if they will wear a Knicks jersey next year, but last time I checked, they wore them last year. They have an up and comer in Danillo, and a repectable coach in D’Antoni (ever heard of him?) So pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, everyone, just STFU! Im a Hawks fan, and even I’m annoyed. Let he/she whos team has never lost be the one to cast the first stone.

what hawks went thru is that considered rebuilding??? Or just exiled into H3ll for many many yrs… how many lottery picks did it take u guys to become respectable.. maybe they can use the hawks 15 yr plan.. That might work.

    favorite hawks moment LOL

In 2001, the Hawks drafted Spanish star Pau Gasol 3rd , but his rights were ceded to the Memphis Grizzlies in a trade involving Shareef Abdur-Rahim (HE WAS A WINNER)~~~~ sarcasm….

there is a difference between a rebuilding period, and paying crazy money to build a team around guys like Eddy Curry, Stephon Marbury, Malik Rose, Jamal Crawford, Jerome James, Steve Francis, Jared Jeffries etc…etc…While also trading away your draft picks. That’s not called rebuilding. Thats called running a franchise terribly.

My favorite Sixers moments LOL: drafting KVH ahead of Chauncey Billups LOL! Drafting Larry Hughes ahead of Disco Dirk and Pierce LOL! Drafting Dalembert over Tony Parker and Gilbert Arenas LMAO! I mean come on, be serious.

Ilperez22, I respect your posting, but you have to admit, it’s annoying seeing people post about the Knicks ever other hour with constant hating. What happened to respect? Call me soft of whatever, but it’s time to move along, talk about other things cmon.

you actually gonna list 2nd round draft choices????? Wouldnt that make the other 29 tms pretty dumb too… Pierce – i agree…..Billups wasnt too sought after either and has bounced around the lg…DO you know when dalembert / hughes left college??? Seton hall / st louis respectively.. Maybe Hughes wasnt the issue and AI was…. hard to develop guys with AI there..Does anything you say TOP pau being moved for SHAREEF? LMFAO…

Thats just as bad as when my phillies moved sandberg… You basically traded a franchise player for a BUM, who is 3 inches shorter.. Way to go Hawks..

I have’nt noticed an exceptional amount of Knick bashing until today. So I guess I’m just jumping on the hating bandwagon a little. However, when the majority of Knick threads are started by Knick supporters, then of course that’s not gonna exactly let it die down.

In the Knicks defense, they seem to be doing things a lot smarter since Isiah was given the boot. There’s no reason that NY should’nt be able to get things turned around quickly.

It’s clear hindsight is always correct. Every team can have a what if? and spend hours talking about shoulda woulda coulda. Who knows, maybe Gasol doesn’t flourish if he stays in ATL. My post was a sarcastic remark about that. It wasn’t clear that Gasol for Shareef was a bad trade at the time. Not many people could have guessed he would be where he is now when he is drafted.

Ilperez22, thats wat I mean by rebuilding, your last paragraph is why I said they are rebuilding. They have made big mistakes in the past, but they are starting make some good decisions, not great, but all hope is not lost.

And because a team is something doesn’t mean that it reflects their fans. ..It doesnt make sense to say the guy is a loser or choke artist because he likes the Mets. That don’t make sense. And btw, the Mets arent either, they are just injury riddled.

I dont give 2 shiits about baseball, so screw the phillies & the mets..

&How about paying Samuel Dalembert 12mill, if there was a stat for goaltends he would lead the league in that every season, most overrated shot blocker in history…

I don’t MLB much, I just know that right now, the Mets have all their stars on the injury list. I’m more of a football/basketball fan.

And btw, since you are probably an Eagles fan, I have to admit you had a very good draft, and the team is looking really good this year. I am a fan of another team in the NFC East, which I think is the toughest league in the team. And no, I am not riding the Giants or Cowboys. I have been a Skins fan since I started watching football a few years ago. Say what you want, but I am loyal.

Everyone needs to realized it is not a 100 million dollar deal. Not all of it is guaranteed. It’s actually worth less then half of it in terms of being guaranteed. If he does fulfill all the incentives and gets paid 100 million, I’m sure it will be 100 million worth well spent. The only problem I have is not drafting an offensive linemen in the draft. I’m ecstatic that Orakpo fell to us though…

G Men eh? I’m hoping we can leap frog Dallas this year. Alot of ppl have us as at 4th in the division, and I think if you stick us in 80% of the other divisions, we could prob make 1st or 2nd place. Thats just how tough the division is. I dunno y the analysts on NFL.com think we r so bad, i think we r pretty good. We added to our 4th rank D, and didnt lose anyone. Our offense just needs to click and stop relying on CP. I wonder wats gonna happen to u guys with Plax. The two rookies look nice, so maybe they can make up for it. With Osi your defense is gonna be good. As for the Raiders, alot of ppl hate on them, but I dont think u should sleep on them. Solid running game even without a strong O line is not easy to do. Also, one of the top shut down corners along with a young D corps. They r gonna b good some day, and I think its gonna be sooner rather then later.

The Giants will have solid defense, but their offense is going to be terrible. Eli Manning without Plax is gonna show how not to play QB in the NFL
