I’m curious as to why the IHSAA ruled him ineligible. I know he transferred from North Central to Cathedral (public to private). The only thing that I could think of is that North Central refused to release him which forces him to sit out a year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up at LaPorte La Lumiere if this holds up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if North Central refused to release him. Him transferring had to piss Coach Mitchell off. 

I was shocked to learn that he was transferring to begin with… Eric Gordon played for him. Evan Gordon played for him up until his senior year. Even Eric Gordon Sr played for North Central when he was young. Coach Mitchell is a very good coach , especially when it comes to coaching guards. He’s coached three Mr. Basketball’s… All guards.

North Central is definitely the better basketball program

I’ve always been under the belief that the Gordon’s had a good relationship with Coach Mitchell, NC basketball and just like their youth panther leagues. Panther league basketball shares it’s member database with Eric Gordon Sr’s camps. I was just very shocked to hear Eron was transferring.
