pman23ParticipantI heard Eric Devendorf is having a great workout. They said that he might get drafted at #45 with the Timberwolves.

auberParticipantthat would just be another reminder as to how bad Minnesota’s Drafting process has been following Kevin Garnett.

birdman1113Participantid much rather take Harris then Devendorf in the second round you shold look for defensive players not scorers in the second round. sure you might find the next Ellis, or Ginoble but the odds are really bad for that happening.

Tha King2121ParticipantI bet D Hamp heard about this he was so happy he jumpped of his roof,
Thats why he hasnt posted yet0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/17/2009 - 8:59am #166442
xbadgerhustlerParticipantLOL~ i was gonna make a dhamp comment too. i don’t think devendorf deserves to be drafted, not that that means that he can’t make it in the league. I feel like he needs to go to Europe for a little bit to get PT and to learn some things about being an adult and a professional.

D HampParticipantAw, yeah, let me start this off!
Word is, Devo has had incredible workouts. The more people on this site hate on him, the more teams start becoming impressed. lol…. Keep up the hatred. Little known fact is that he is a pretty good defender for a 6’4 point guard! He almost averaged about 2 steals a game before the injury. I wouldn’t be surpirsed if Minnesota takes him.
And as we can see, people like Auber are already hating on Devo yet again. But he won’t have anything to say when college basketball’s most clutch shooter is drafted.
Dhamp…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

birdman1113Participanthes a decent scorer whos a ballhog, and he doesnt play defense. dont draft him if you play him hell take the ball away from your players and hurt your team.

gatorheelsParticipantDEVO has 0% chance of being drafted with the 45th pick

j1232eParticipantthat finally finished his college at fresno state, is an accurate comparison. to devo!

pistonsmanParticipantNO WAY HE GOES 45 H GOES 55.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/17/2009 - 10:32am #166574

gatorheelsParticipantDEVO has 0% of being drafted period. Haha There are 90 prospects in this draft that are better than him.

Meditated StatesParticipantI just don’t see him getting drafted. He is underrated in terms of what he can do off the dribble, because I remember him killing everyone off the dribble in the big east his first year. Now he has turned himself into a shooter. If he stays in front of people in his workouts he could get a camp invite. I would not draft that kid though, not in either round. Too many question marks.

D HampParticipantBirdman1113, get a life. Foreal. Like there isn’t more than one Devo fan on this site. There are plenty, just few and far between. There is only 1 Dhamp. I’m the main protagonist. I have better things to do.
And j1232e, while I do like the throwback Chris Herran!!!!!!!!!!! I need to use that one day, his game is nothing like Devo.
C’mon man seriously. I remember Herrnan back in 1997 with Tarkanina, dude could play. I was surpised he wasn’t drafted.
But again, he isn’t Devo.
DHamp…..you know the name.

CavsDawgParticipantDevendorf is too good of a scorer to not be drafted.
the dude can knock downshots, he may not be a true basketball player but there are teams that are going to realize that he can light it up at times, he’ll be a spot up shooter for a team

RENOxBOSSParticipantDevendorf can ball, I would like to see him get drafted but the chances are pretty low with all the guards in this years draft. I see him taking the McNamara route & playing in the D-League this year.

mb6297Devendorf is more likely to get arrested than to be anywhere in this draft. (Doesn’t mean he won’t get drafted lol)

D HampParticipantmb6297 get a life man, stop hating. Devo is even graduating on time. Stop getting caught up in his on-court persona. Nobody has watched more Devo than me and I’m telling you he can ball. And Scout4real, I disagree he is a shooter. He’s been the point guard on that team, but when a team signs someone like Flynn, the second best point gurad coming out of high school, they had to move Devo to the shooting guard. Last in the game, when he hit clutch shots, he drove to the basket.
And, to all of the haters, he is the best in America and driving to the basket and finishing with either hand. Heck, its under his profile on this site!!!!!!
Whoa, matter of fact, he almost shoots better with his off hand. I haven’t seen anyone shoot better with either hand than Jeyrl Sasser.
DHamp….you know the name.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantit’s not hard to graduate college when you have professional tutors to help you every step of the way (or in some cases, do your work for you)… My 12 year old sister could pass college with the help a lot of athletes get… Now I’m not saying they couldn’t do it without the help, but they do get a lot of help…. that’s also balanced with a full-time job (during the season) so it’s not like most are dumb at all… I’m just sayin, graduating doesn’t mean all that much sometimes.
good point about devo having to move over after flynn got there… i’ll give you that
“he is the best in America at driving to the basket and finishing with either hand”
lol
