kerrstParticipantThis year’s 3 point shootout features Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kyle Korver, JJ Redick and Wesley Matthews. Arguably the top 5 shooters in the NBA so it looks like this will be the contest to end all doubt about who the best shooter in the NBA is……Who ya got?

DondiJohnParticipantIm going with Wes Matthews. Curry Thompson Korver Redick and Bellineli are more of shooters that use momentum or flow ( coming off screens and off the pick n roll ). 3 Point Shootout doesnt give that, Wes has the advantage because he’s more of the spot up shooter in the group.
Wes Matthews / Marco Bellineli in the finals. Wes wins it

agentoaktreeParticipantI disagree that Wes is more of a spotup shooter than Redick or Korver, but there is something to his heftiness and lack of noticeable legs in his shot that could give him an advantage off the rack.

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantI got J.J. Redick who is kind of the forgotten great shooter in the NBA. He hasn’t gotten the same volume of shots as the others for his career. He has perfect textbook form, just like they teach you as a kid. "Reach out of the phone booth and into the cookie jar." He can pick the balls up and go right into his shot. Out of all of the shooters, I think he and Klay have the purest forms, but this can also just be Klay’s year. I mean 37 in a quarter on 13-13 shooting. Still going with J.J. Redick though in an upset.

lalailaParticipantI wouldn’t agree winner of the contest should close out the question of who the best shooter is, but offcourse it could an argument.
Overall, I still believe Curry is clearly the best NBA shooter when it counts, but in the contest like this I go with Korver. Curry’s been pretty average (last year?) there, plus he even lost to coach Jackson once

King CaluchaParticipantClearly Curry and Korver are two of the best shooters ever, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll win. I don’t dare giving a prediction because it depends on how they feel that day. Sometimes shots just don’t fall,

sitlbitoParticipantThat’s just a show. The best shooter is the guy that makes his team much better thanks to his shot, and to me this year it’s Kyle Korver. And by the way Steph Curry has the “worst” 3 pts shooting percentage of all the participants.
