OhCanada-ParticipantThe Kentucky Wildcat star frontcourt player (sort of) has publicly stated he would like to join the Washington Wizards (if he had a choice). Undoubtfully he is trying to pair up with another KU great John Wall. Kanter recently declined inerviews for Utah, Toronto, and Milwaukee (Milwaukee could be making serious attempts to move up in this draft).I dont want to jump too any conclusions although it sure looks like he is holding out for Washington, and if not just what does he think he is doing? He is in for a shocking surprise when he realizes not every organization is stupid enough to pass up on a 19 year old 6’11 260 pound C just because that C doesnt wanna play there. Will Minni be stupid enough to pass twice?

NashyMingParticipantWhat? Kanter declined interview with Utah and Toronto? Are you serious? Any source? I would be really disappointed for him to be so disrespectful as he should not be picking his team like this.

butidonthavemoneyThis was mentioned earlier, but it’s not exactly true. He never stated publically that he wants to be a Wizard. He passed on a possible interview with the Jazz today, but he’s actually going to spend an entire day (June 2nd) with Utah executives, who are very high on him.
"Now hearing Jazz will spend all day with Enes Kanter on June 2nd in Chicago. Will see him workout + interview. He’s not dodging Jazz."

The8thDeadlySinParticipantSince we are talking about it.. When he was ruled ineligable by the NCAA, why didnt he hop back to Turkey and play the season over there?? Was there a reson why?

nhlkdog411ParticipantSpeaking of Kanter, he really measured 6’10” in no shoes, 260, 7’1.5” wingspand and 5.9% body fat (?!?!)?? Holy SHIT

ghettosermonParticipantWell technically he did say he’d like to be a Wizard. Living here in D.C. the interview segment was shown on T.V., but it wasn’t like he said he needs to be in D.C. The reporter asked him where is somewhere he’d like to play, he said casually that he’s friends with John Wall and loves the city of DC so it would be nice to play there. He didn’t shun any other team or rule out any other team so there is nothing wrong with what he said. He simply answered honestly to a question. People have to also realize that his English is still a work in progress so analyzing his answers is not fair compared to an American born player. You can still tell that he doesn’t fully grasp the meaning of all questions especially thes smart ass one’s.

marcusfizer21ParticipantEnes is a big dude… Every team in the top 6 would be craving for a talent like his… I think everyone of us would dream of playing for a preferred team yet even if it didn’t happen to a player (like Dwyane Wade for example)… He’s still glad to be in the NBA and that’s what matters the most… And ghetto is right, it’s not really fair for the media or anyone to analyze word for word a guy who hasn’t spoken English that much… But I tell you, Enes is going to be a big player with any team he’s with…

OhCanada-ParticipantJust kinda weird for him to decline 3 interveiws but I guess that the media blew it up into something it wasnt. For all we know he just wasnt prepared for those interveiws and his agent told him he needed preperation. Good to see he will be with the Jazz June 2nd.

Really? Another misprint? You mean Cleavland, not Minni.

OhCanada is easily one of the more articulate members of the forum. I don’t think someone who misspelled "Cleveland" has the right to critique another user’s grammer.

Right. Poor wording on my behalf.
