BasterdInABasketParticipantGreat game, lots of bad plays on both teams parts and some clutch play especially by Wade on D and Lowrys miracle shot. But two things: I’ve thought this for awhile but OT in the NBA is awful to watch. Between each team getting three time outs and all the reviews it’s annoying to watch a 5 minute period take 25 minutes to play out. Also am I wrong in thinking that Wade should have been called for a travel at the end. Gets the ball on his knees stands up and dribbles. I always thought that was a travel. More late game controversy and a statement from the nba to come?

morestealsthanscoresParticipantnot really – he was on his knees, bounced it on the way up, and got to his feet. pretty heads up play. Sure I’ve seen it called before, but any league I’ve ever played in they’ve been overzealous in making that sort of call!
And re: overtime – YES – FIBA you get 1 timeout for the 5 minutes and it flows so much more smoothly! I could cope with 1 full + 1 20 second, or 1 + 1 in the last minute, but 3 each is crazy

SubZeroParticipantAbout OT in the NBA: I agree. Jeff Van Gundy has always been big on speeding the game up and finding a way to lessen dead ball time. They have to come up with something, because it’s almost unwatchable at times until the action gets started again
About DWade traveling, I don’t think so. It looked to me like he was on his knees, bounced it, and came up and kept dribbling. Pretty heads up play, something that we’d expect from a vet and Hall of Famer like him

OhCanada-ParticipantThis is the most stressful team to watch in the history of sports. I’ve lost a couple years of my life and gone from a full head of hair to a Lebron hair line in the past weeks. To be fair Lowry is literally playing with one arm its obvious that his elbow is shot and he should probably he sitting out. Dragic took full advantage of that and when Torontos two best players cant hit thier 3’s they are in trouble. They just lack that swagger and confidence true contenders have.

GronounoursParticipantToo many timeouts? I’d say: too much basketball in my ads binge watching.
