Emmanuel Mudiay

I don’t understand how this site manages to rate these players with their rating scales. 8/10 for athleticism and yet he’s comparable to the likes to John Wall? John Wall is a dynamic athlete with elite speed,quickness,body control,explosiveness and verticality. I do not think Mudiay is in the same conversation as Wall but he is near and it’s not like his athleticism will hinder him going forward but 8/10, really? Next, his size is only 9/10, this prospect has legit size for either backcourt position and may be even the 3 spot yet he’s rated a notch below 10? With his frame and length, I can see him being an absolute nightmare for opposing teams. His passing is only 8/10, while I understand this may be more of a product of his average decision making and tendency to make the ‘flashy’ pass rather than the correct one, but I’ve seen this guy play and his passing, feel for the game and court vision shows a lot of promise right now I’d rate it about 9 now 8. And the last thing, his potential is only 8, I believe this guy is a franchise player waiting to develop; he’s basically a true athletic point guard in a SG’s body; sky’s the limit.

I believe they do whatever it takes to make best prospect to have the best ratings and others lower by every pick..but those rankings isn’t that valuable so some guys have to be underrated or overrated there to have their  say 5th best rank because he is 5th on the mock

 Semaj chirston had an 95 when he was first compared to John Wall. IMO Mudiay is a better player and prospect than Semaj so I don’t  understand how he’s only an 93

just read chad ford’s chat today.  he thinks mudiay can go #1 in 2015 nba draft.  pretty interesting that he noted scouts loved the fact that he was going to play under larry brown.  big boost for smu recruiting if that’s the case.
