festar35ParticipantSo Miami, Detroit and Boston all made moves that’ll help them win and potentially make the play-offs. Indiana and Charlotte have decided to stand pat. I feel it will come down to these 5 teams, Brooklyn I think will just tread water, but with inclusion of Young I won’t totally rule them out.
I am a Pacers fan, but for me the play-offs rely on PG coming back strong and he is too much of a wildcard at this point. I think that the last 2 spots go to the Heat and Pistons.
So who gets the last 2 spots?

Sharp ShooterParticipantmiami & detroit (7&8 spots)

B-ball fanParticipantGives them a desperately needed shot creator and he can step up whenever Wade sits. I think they are now the 7th seed.
I think Charlotte squeaks by with the 8th seed. I just don’t think the Pistons’ trade helps them in the short-run. Jackson is having a really poor season and Augstin has done a solid job holding down the fort in Jennings’ absence. Combined with the loss of Singler and Jerebko, I fear this trade hurts Detroit unless Jackson breaks out, which I don’t think will happen until next season if it happens at all. SVG is a great point guard coach, though, so I may be wrong.

BiggysmallsParticipantI hope Miami doesn’t make it because I can’t stand when people say Pat Riley is a great GM but I’m assuming they sneak in and with a lineup including Dragic-Wade-Deng-Bosh, they could certainly scare a team like Toronto or Cleveland and push them to 6ish games.

NCarmean18ParticipantMy guess would be Miami at the seventh seed and Detroit at the eighth seed, respectively. However, I would really love to see the Boston Celtics sneak in there somewhere and allow their young and talented core to get some much needed postseason experience. I feel as though watching Brad Stevens coach in the playoffs would be extremely fun to watch.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantMiami and…..Brooklyn. I think they’ll beat out Charlotte & Detroit ever so slightly. I give them the edge because of the Atlantic division. Those guaranteed 4 games against Philly & NY will be the difference

Reptilian MonkParticipantI say Miami 7th Detroit 8th. Hope the Cavs get the 2 seed. Want to see a Lebron Cavs vs Miami 1st round.

nzsiderParticipantI seriously think Miami is a legit contender in the East now. Hard to name many stronger starting 5’s out East.
Can Wade stay healthy though – that is the question?

Moon RiverParticipantI am not a fan but saw this morning that they will be the only team in the NBA with all of their starters being in the top 90 in PER. Although, Wades health and now Bosh puts everything up in the air because they are not a deep team who can afford injuries.
