casey38rayParticipantAs we all know the WEST is by far the better conference than the EAST. They’re numerous reasons why they are better. I’m going to make a list of things that the western conference have over the EAST.
1) numerous all stars on roster or capable of being all stars
2) better coaching / systems
3) have better benches ( numerous west bench players could be starters on other teams )
4) development in younger talent
Yall can add more to this list

Rip255Mostly pretty obvious points that sink well below the standard level of analysis on this site, but I don’t agree that the West has better coaches. I think the following are very good coaches and it’s pretty even. Coaches I like from the East include;
Tom Thibs
Erik Spoelstra
Frank Vogel
Mike Budenhoelzer
Stan Van Gundy
Brad Stevens (possibly best up-n-coming coach…debatable).
Jason Kidd – (giving him credit for bucks)
Any others? I know Brett Brown from pre-nba coaching jobs and he’s excellent too, but obviously hasn’t got the players at the 76ers to demonstrate this yet.
