Champzilla21Participantthis is terrible minny will not take a center they have jefferson and love, and oklahoma would take favors or donte like come, no way golden state takes brackins, willie warrens not falling to 18, vasquez is not a first rounder, stephenson will not fall to 28, and stanley robinson will make the first round

Champzilla21Participantok unless jefferson and love both cant play again they wrent taking a big can we agree their? How many international players have lived up to expectations takin that high in the draft, unless favors has an underwhelming season which i doubt we can agree their. brackins is a big pf and woould not work into their system, warren is easily a lottery pick based on his skill set and athleticism, vasquez couldnt get a first round guarntee in a weak draft so hows he gunna crack the first round in a deeper draft? Robinson will improve and will get picked becuz hes easily the best athlete in the draft next year, the only one where i could be wrong is stephenson, any problems with my opinion tell me

twotrill25ParticipantChampzilla21 thanks for your opinion I think Alabi will have a solid year and if the draft was in this order i think they would take him. Al Jefferson is not a real center and it wont work well this year so they will draft him
If the draft is the order that it is i think Warren will fall not because he wont have a great year none of those teams really need a PG so i have him falling to the Heat
Vasquez just seem like a player the spurs would love, i dont think he 1st round matiaral but i think he fits well with spurs.
Robinson i dont know much about him so i just put him to 28 with the Celtics

Champzilla21Participantif they drafted alabi and moved jefferson to the pf it would take away mins from love which would be dumb, he was solid in the few mins he played so give him more, minny needs a solid small forward who can also handle the ball and spread the floor to open it up for love and jeff and to releave some ball duties from flynn, toronto charlotte indiana could use warren hes a sg/pg, robinson at 20 now seems a little high is hes ahead of henry, and varnado is really high on here drop him some

twotrill25ParticipantI think cousins and patterson will fall because there is alot of PF Depth
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 10:43am #208306

lalailaParticipantbut there isn’t so many 6’11” 270 guys like Cousins(just Sidney), and so many good enough pFs in all categories like Patterson(just Monroe maybe)

twotrill25ParticipantYour right
but we dont know the order of the draft yet
so i just went by needs0- Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 2:15pm #208410

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantAminu falling to #14? really?
Even if he does he’s a terrible fit in Oklahoma where Kevin Durant is going to be logging 36+ minutes per game at the SF position for years.

its not gonna be perfect we dont know the real order yet0- Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 7:42pm #208544

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI’m confused…If you just went by needs why do you have OKC taking a player they don’t need?

llperezMock drafts done this early should not even consider team needs. It should just be a ranking of what order the prospects will go since we have no idea who will be drafting where or what kind of trades will be made between now and then.

TheAlchemistI wouldnt worry about it “ItsDwightHoward”, the whole idea of doing a mock draft in August is totally moronic anyway.

marcusfizer21ParticipantEarly NBA Mock Drafts are somewhat unsure… What I am saying is, the player’s stock may rise or it may fall as the season goes on… Remember BJ Mullens? He used to be considered as a top 2 pick in the 2009 Draft… He landed 24th… Chase Budinger used to be considered as 12-19th pick until his stock dropped and went to the 2nd round to the surprise of some… DeAndre Jordan’s stock was considered top 5 until he landed from mid-lotto until he really dropped to the second round… There will be changes as the days go on… We can’t be really sure for now…
