If the Sixers would happen to get the 3rd and 4th overall picks and got Ben Simmons and Jamal Murray I would be thrilled. I am pretty sure Simmons will end up going first though. Skal and Jaylen are both very good but I think Simmons will do enough at LSU to slightly seperate himself from those guys.

I think that Simmons is more versatile and has more franchise player potential than both Skal and Brown. I have Minny taking Skal because him and Towns would be a dynamic bigman duo and a core of LaVine/Wiggins/Towns/Labissiere oozes potential. I think Brown is the better option for Denver than Simmons because he is more explosive and belongs on the wing more and also I can’t see Mudiay and Simmons working together on the same team.

Honestly, we’re guarenteed at least 1 top 5 pick. So we’ll end up grabbing either Jaylen Brown or Jamal Murray. If they have good years. Also, I don’t think Isaiah Briscoe will go 27th. If he has a good year he’s gonna jump up to mid-1st range. If he has a solid year, look from him to return for a sophomore year. I believe Melo Trimble may go higher as well. All depends on situation.

I’d love to see a projected lottery with teams. Unlikely the Wolves are picking first again. Don’t see the Knicks being the second worst team in the league either.

    1. Portland–Simmons

    2. Nuggets (not sure if this pick is still theirs)–Labissiere

    3. Philly–Murray

    4. Detroit–Bender

    5. Denver (from Knicks)–Ingram

    6. Philly (from LA)–Brown

    7. Minny–Dunn

    8. Boston–Poeltl

    9. Boston (from Brooklyn)–Newman

    10. Orlando–Sabonis

This is a massive guessing game at this point. I’ve seen very little from these players and have a difficult time predicting which teams are going to be good and bad for the year.

There’s always a guy that emerges out of nowhere…nobody will be able to guess it. Maybe one guy…who will be sure to tell EVERYBODY he was right.

    To the OP:

    – Hayes too high. He has some tools, but he’s a 6’7" PF at the end of the day.

    – Ellenson too high. Don’t think he has the physical tools to warrant a pick this high.

    – Dunn too low. He’s a top-15 pick barring injury.

    – Poeltl too low. Has the size and 2-way tools to be a lottery pick as well.

I have a few others small gripes (I’d have Jeter, Trimble and Korkmaz higher while having Mykhailiuk, D.Hamilton, D.Robinson and M.Lee lower), but it’s early and it’d be petty to complain too much since all of us are operating off of some form of conjecture before the CBB season has even started.

stones to Mock the entire 1st round a year early & then Re-Post it after the actual Draft

It’s Crazy how Weak that 2016 Draft was compared to what 2017 is being Projected…… I can still remember a few stories on the espn site & Draft Express & even a few other predicting that the 2016 Draft was going to be Terrible in terms of possible Super Stars……

Many Talent experts were predicting a year ago that 2016 was the Ben Simmons sweepstakes & that is was a 1 player Draft…… Ingram & Dunn emerged as probable future All Stars & Jaylen Brown & maybe Jamal Murray also look decent…… but as a Whole, they were accurate.

Has anyone looked over Embedded Footage of the 2017 incoming Freshman class — the "One & Doners"???

OMG! Harry Giles, Johnathan Isaac, Jayson Tatum & Josh Jackson are Incredible prospects at SF & PF! But at PG/SG there are 6 Studs Also! Fultz, Smith, Fox, Ntilikina, Ball & Monk are Amazing! I can’t remember a Draft class with This many Stud prospects!
