Watching PTI and the guys are talking about problems arising with in the team. The players are not feeling Paul pushing them so hard. Griffin and Jordan do not like the why the coach is distributing the minutes. I can see this as a problem. Right now that team needs to be focused on playing well and getting ready for the playoffs. This is not the time for information like this to be coming out.

well unless they want to go fishing with the TNT crew early this year they best take advantage of paul pushing them harder because at the way they are playing now they might not even make it past the first round. and for jordan…god damn…maybe you will get minutes if you make some god damn free throws…(off the glass dont count). as well had it not been for the bench they would have been blown out by the pacers AT HOME.

Definitely a possibility considering they are most likely to be matched up with the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are clicking right now while the Clippers are losing to the Pacers at home, Mavericks (outside the playoffs), and the Rockets without James Harden. As a Warriors fan, I was hoping that GSW would get to play the Clippers (GSW beat LAC in the season series 3-1) in the first round but because they are losing and the Nuggets are winning, my preference will probably not be happening. CP3 is going to have his hands full in the first round with the Grizzlies who have one of the better defensive PGs in Mike Conley.

The feel-good Clippers are gone, with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin’s immaturity dragging the team down.
Jordan wants nothing to do with Coach Vinny Del Negro because he blames Del Negro for burying him on the bench.

Yet Jordan’s inability to play consistently or make free throws, thereby turning the ball over to the opposition much like a turnover, makes him a liability in close games.

Jordan sees it differently, and he has for the last two seasons, maintaining he would be more productive if allowed to play more.

He’s as likable as they come and overloaded with athletic ability. But as an NBA starter on a team that wants to compete for championships, he’s more cancer than consistent contributor while failing to justify what he’s being paid.

Griffin is Jordan’s buddy, and still a kid.

His development has been sabotaged by his inability to accept criticism of any sort.

It helps explain why he’s always at odds with the referees. He’s never done anything wrong, as he sees it, so why are they blowing a whistle and calling him out?

He takes a punishment when he plays, and right now he’s playing hurt. But he reacts like a kid when done wrong, looking for the opportunity to get even while giving no regard to how that might affect his team’s performance.

He wants the ball like any great player, but when it doesn’t go to him, he pouts. He’s 24. Most of the time the ball goes to Griffin, but he’s concerned only about the times when it doesn’t.

The Clippers’ future success is tied to Griffin’s becoming as mature as he is a high-flying superstar. It would be nice, maybe even vital to the team’s success, if it happened overnight.

Griffin has already improved his game at the foul line and shooting from the outside. But he must do the same as a team player rather than aligning himself with the most disgruntled player on the team.

The other night in Sacramento, Griffin and Jordan exchanged words on the bench. Griffin told Jordan he best never again stare him down as he did when Griffin failed to give Jordan a good pass for a dunk.

Everyone else was left to sit there while waiting for the kids to stop bickering.

The pair have also grown tired of Chris Paul’s voice, which is understandable at times.

Paul, very much like Kobe Bryant — who has turned off Dwight Howard with his out-of-this-world standards — is relentless. He never shuts up. And Jordan and Griffin have become weary of him.

When asked about being annoying, Paul smiled and said, “I need to work on being a better leader.”

I’m a big Clipper supporter and watch every game, and I know even if they’re clicking on all cylinders they’re still not going able to beat OKC or San Antonioin a seven game series this year. And I really think Memphis would beat them as well even if Clippers had home court advantage.

i just post some points here, first they should hear more CP3, they are playing at this lvl because of him i can see them being tired of CP3 because he is competitive and wants to win he is a vet and he should be respected that’s my opinion, about

We just need a better coach. Vinny doesn’t know who are the best players are yet which is absolutely ridiculous. The funny thing is any average Clipper fan can tell you a legit 9-man rotation come playoff time

just realized this….doesnt this greatly affect paul’s chances of staying? i mean if this team is like this then they are obviously not ready to win a championship and i dont think paul wants to spend the prime years of his career babysitting a bunch of overgrown babies

It might slightly effect his chances but the Clips are still a huge favorite to retain Paul. The teams that will have the cap space to sign him this summer aren’t exactly full of talent. I could possibly see him going to play for the Hawks because they will have enough money for two max contracts like Paul and perhaps Dwight Howard.

The only other teams with the projected cap room to sign him that make any kind of sense would be Dallas and New Orleans in my book. Other teams like Utah and San Antonio would have the money to sign him but I don’t see that happening. I say it is well over a 75% chance he remains a Clipper.
